Refurbished Lionel General (A More Realistic 4-4-0)

After many months of searching for a reasonably priced Lionel General I recently acquired one to repurpose into a 4-4-0 in more prototypical colors. Instead of bright reds or greens like most Generals are dressed up in I chose more subtle colors 1870s locomotives would’ve had. Although it still bears Lionel’s bizarre tapered boiler and offset drivers, it is a nice 027 representation of a locomotive from that era. As always thanks for watching!
