    You've honored 100 years of Guzzi's History on a dream ride, on a proper sweet machine. This is the kind of trip that, at least for me, epitomizes the spirit of motorcycling.
    Guess your sister was smiling wright above you all the time.
    Best regards from Brazil. ✌

    Whilst researching for my next motorbike I noticed some things. Most vloggers spend about 10 minutes with a spec sheet review, explain a "TFT" screen and all it's options, complain that it hasn't got a quick shifter, cruise control etc, will then drive a mile down the road, gushing praise on how the suspension "copped" over some tarmac, followed by a fake "whoop" to demonstrate acceleration.. So to see a beautiful well made short and sweet little video (along with your other ones) are pure joy to me. Hats of for getting the Guzzi with narrow handle bars around those hair pins, that engine sound is so addictive, there is a certain passion your bike has that my next will never have. Cheers.

    I’m looking at the Moto Guzzi V85TT for my last bike. I like the simplicity of the engine, that I can do valve adjustments without taking the bike apart. I love shaft drive. And it has a funky character that sets it apart from all of the other adventure bikes in this range. I’ve never owned an Italian bike. I think this one would take me into my 80s and over the finish line. Great Rambo ride. Love the engine sound.😎👍

      I have yet to try the v85tt. But I actually emailed the factory before they built it, telling them that the Stelvio was just too big. I bought a Quota instead! I expect the v85tt is a perfect useable bike. I too prefer easy maintenance and character. Get one and enjoy sir 👍

    Nice coverage. Brought back a few memories. I was at Lake Como a couple of years back with the family. Damn factory tour was not available at the time. A big disappointment for ex 1000S owning me. But I swear I've walked around that pier you shot. Verenna I think. Been over those Swiss mountain passes you covered on a NX650 (my 'round the world machine) & TransAlp (Swiss friend's loaner) 750 twenty plus years ago. Not the sportiest of bikes, but wide bar leverage is better for switchbacks than narrow Guzzi clip ons. 180 degree turns are the antithesis to Guzzi's fast sweeping modus operandi. The sweeps down into Italy and back up into the Alps must have been grand. Thanks.

    • @rustynuts82
      @rustynuts82  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. The older motors are bomb proof. The chassis strong, electrics are decent from 89 onwards.
      The earlier electrics can be troublesome. The fuel injected bikes are generally decent, but suffer from niggles up-to the 4 valve chocolate cam era. Basically the newer the better, or the older the better!
