    Very nice video as usual Adam! I was wondering if you could talk about your experience using the DJI Mic 2 and the DJI action 4 via Bluetooth.
    Also out of curiosity, if your wife helps you either editing videos or filming you etc.
    Cheers from your subscriber from France that is very happy to see how your channel is growing!

    • @TravelingAhn
      @TravelingAhn  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello Adrien, thank you again for all your support. Regarding the Action 4 paired up with the DJI Mic 2, it's very seamless. It's not the janky bluetooth connection of the DJI Mic 2 and something like the iPhone. Just like the Pocket 3, they have the built in technology to make the quality of the Bluetooth connection retain incredibly high quality so that you do not have to implement the DJI Mic 2 Receiver.
      Also, I am a one man show 😂, I do all the filming and editing. My wife has her own business so it would be nearly impossible for her to assist me. But, she's okay with being in a video every now and then 😂

    Hi Adam! Great tips and gear. With all of that gear, you're like Data from the Goonies! I actually purchased the Limo Studio phone holder from your affiliate links in a previous video. It helped me to adjust the settings so I could do my last video. I also literally just purchased the MT-44 (already have the MT-16) right before I saw this video. You're the one who made me think about that one so I can use it as a small travel tripod. I've been using something else which just isn't cutting it. I always try to purchase through affiliate links, but can't always. I'm starting to see how having the gear early really makes a difference (also purchased the DJI Mic 2's) so hopefully you'll be able to get in contact with DJI, although I believe it's really hard to get them to send you gear early. For example, @itzsky has over 10K subs and has mentioned it a few times. Anyway, talk to you soon!

    Hey boss! Great tips on the gear you're carrying around! I've got close to the same setup as you, but a Canon m50 instead of the Sony. The problem I have is with the set up before shooting anything. I really want to be as quick as possible sometimes, but having to get my colors right, my shutter and exposure right, then having to frame and get ready always feels like such a hassle. So much so that I get real lazy about it and just put everything on auto and hope for the best just so I can shoot me saying something real quick and move along. Got any tips for speeding up or making that setup process easier or faster?

    • @TravelingAhn
      @TravelingAhn  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Regarding the strategy, here is my general rule. If I'm doing cinematic shots, I will dial in the settings with a ND Filter, exposure, shutter speed, etc on the Pocket 3. But if it's purely vlogging, I will go with Pro Mode, Normal Color profile with auto shutter, auto wb, auto iso, -0.3 to -0.7 EV for the day time hours. If it's evening, I will go Pro Mode, D-Log M with manual Shutter (180 rule), auto wb, auto iso, -0.3 EV. I would never just put it in complete auto mode (non pro mode). Of course -2 sharpness and -1 Noise Reduction.
      If you're using the Canon M50, for these small APS-C camera's...I would go Aperture Priority if your vlogging and don't want to worry about ND filters, 180 rule, etc.... Hope that helps!

      Woah, that's such a nicely reviewed full-frame camera! I was really eyeing that this past summer. It plays very nicely with the DJI Ronin RS mini 3. When you are filming yourself in selfie mode and using the gimbal, it will keep face track you on the Gimbal so you don't have to worry about framing yourself. That is something that is a plus compared to not having that feature on my Sony ZV-E10.

    Great video, Adam. It’s cool to see what another camera enthusiast brings on trips. I’m constantly tweaking what I bring with me. I am still looking for the perfect wearing mount for the P3. I’ve tried a few but am not satisfied with them. I’m excited to see what you think about the DJI Mic 2 system you purchased. There seems to be an issue with them especially with the built-in mic. I recommend watching the videos by Wayne REC, Curtis Judd, and BassMan Strikes. Hopefully the issue can be fixed with a firmware update. I’m holding out buying mine until this thing shakes out. Hello Rene, thank you for forwarding me these links. Yeah, I ran across this issue the other day and was aware of the issue that people are hoping DJI will update in firmware.
      For now, I'm totally okay with the issue and I feel like DJI has a track record of doing great on firmware updates. At the end of the day, the way I use these mics are for run and gun purposes so it's not really intended for studio settings. But that is definitely an issue that hopefully they will update for those audiophiles out there!
