I seriously don't care about the Inhumans. They just make it complicated for new readers to understand the difference between a mutant and an inhuman.

How is that people could defend the Inhumans after this or the attempt Marvel had made to push into prominence? This whole event that was supposed to be Cyclops crossing the line felt more like a sign that the Inhumans were evil.
Everything Cyclops did during the last decade was to ensure the survival of mutant race, its unpopular and depressing for comic books, but realistically its the only way when your entire species has that much people left with pretty much the entire planet trying to kill you off.

So everyone knows, Inhumans are heartless murderers, because when you read the comic, Medusa orders blackbolt to kill Scott before he even had the panel of being ready to shoot. They were gonna execute him regardless (well him as in the emma manipulation)

Pride Guy when a people uphold and trusts their leader, their royal representatives with their lives, they trust them. The actions of the king and the queen represent the inhumans. They believe in it. And having read the inhumans for a long time i can assure you, except a few of them, everyone would have done the same.

Cyclops was one of the greatest X-Men of all times. Shoot, I rather be a X-Man than an Avenger or Inhuman any day of my lifetime.
Crazy part is since the x-men was overpowered they start killing them off showing people that they can die and they are just like every other superhero even though they can solo a good amount of marvel heroes and villains

Nah most of what you said was right, but honestly there isn't a choice on whether or not the cloud is a good thing or a bad thing as a whole. With the cloud thousands upon thousands die. Without the cloud people live a normal life. OH WELL.
CcReap3r the storyline is just dumb. so living a normal life is so bad that they are willing to sacrifice the lives of an entire mutant race? even if their latent powers are never awaken, at least they get to go on living.

Man, this one was done absolutely spectacular. The writing, art and everything else. I loved the borderline insane smile Emma gave at the end, it was absolutely was bone chilling, and your ending "There's no truce anymore" made my hair stand on end. Amazing job per usual.

And their record with X-men isn't good either. Yea a few characters are awesome, but over all the movies suck. And those awesome characters don't even make up half the cast they have had.
This is depressing. Marvel is slowly riding of their most successful franchise in history. RIP X Men, you made for a wonderful childhood, but now just a memory.

Great job retelling this story. You did a really good job making it compelling and dealing with the various emotions involved. This is the first of your videos like this I've seen and I'm definitely going to stick around to see more.
I have to commend Marvel and the creative team for this book. I don't like a lot of what has been done with Scott for the past few years, especially after the abysmal AvX story, but I feel like this was the right way for him to go out. There is no way to make his death feel right or earned, but they turned what was likely some bone-headed executive decision into a good story where people's decisions made sense. I haven't seen Emma be this sympathetic and well written in a very long time, probably not since Grant Morrison's time on the X-Men. It's a great example of not only how much Emma loved Scott but also of who she is as a character and the complexities that are still at play with her personality. I hope that she lives through IvX and that the writers turn her into a leader for the X-men, or at least a group of them. I'm sad to see Scott go, but I'm interested in seeing where this is all going to lead.
I hope the X-men beat the Inhumans. I also hope they find a way to bring Cyclops back to life.
Wait, so all Cycops did was change the Terrigen cloud so it wasn't toxic anymore? As long as it can still cause Terigenesis, I don't get why the Inhuman royals were still angry with him by the end.

But that's the thing though, the dude can heal from bones… Bones. That's why they had to get rid of his healing factor to kill him. Yeah old man Logan is a thing but nobody really cares beyond the fact that he is another version of Logan. So at the very least, Logan is still around.
Given the stuff that his healing factor has helped him survive, I wouldn't be able to buy The mist killing him.
This story made all inhumans evil, you cant even be on their side in this story.
I personally read the "Death of X" and "Inhumans vs X-men" , this is the only time that i wanted a whole group to die (Inhumans) and Emma made the correct decision and also X-men need adult Cyclops ....

You know I got to say despite the hate I more on the side of the inhumans here, their only bad mark was attacking Scott's group and I'll chalk that up to a response to Magnetos attack on their people wanting to keep the mist for just contain it till they could change it so it didn't harm mutants but still did it's job. I mean look at the rest of the comic, Scott and Emma were really the aggressors, the Inhumans didn't know the mist would do this, they immediately went to fixing the problem when they found out what it did and they only put the people to sleep because the city was going into chaos.
No, the Inhumans are complicit in genocide here. Marvel retconned Cyclops' death to try and make the Inhumans look good. But in reality the Inhumans are a bunch of religious fanatics willing to let innocent mutants die to preserve their damn cloud.

Because they don't own the rights to them on film, so they're just killings then off so they only have characters from the movies in their comics. They did the same thing with the Fantastic Four. I find this to just be a dumb way of handling it.

I read this and even though I love how Emma handle Cyclops I can't help but think "Really none of them didn't not think to wear a gas mask when going in that facility of Terregen Mist I know they did not know what it was but still . I'm sorry Cyclops but that was a dumb way to die.

What's up with Angel's wings? If Cyclops was just a projection why did Emma talk to him when they were alone? What were the younger xmen doing during this ? What happened to Havok's face?
So... your telling me that if the gas was removed, the Inhumans wouldn't suffer total extermination like the Mutants would... and the Inhumans didn't immediately push the mission statement of helping the Mutants get rid of the toxic gas...
Are the writers intentionally making me dislike the Inhumans or is this a writing error? Pretty big error given the Inhumans would still have time to research alternatives... yet somehow they didn't change their opinion on the gas in any way shape or form. I would even go as far as to expose internal technology to reliable mutants like Storm, Emma, or hell even Logan if there really weren't any plans to exterminate the mutants. I mean, what would they have to hide? Sure it's a security risk, but the original X-men have a record for being controlled enough to restrict themselves from killing civilians. They would understand, I mean for the longest time, they're race was going to die due to age and no real way to reproduce. Wouldn't they sympathize with the Mutants who have had to endure the world's cruelties and ignorance more than they had to?
This entire arc could've been avoided.

look, I know that the X-Men were a big thing for a couple of years and the old cartoon show boosted their popularity, but come on guys the Inhumans are clearly not the badguys here. Neither side is. The Inhumans had no idea the terrigen cloud would be lethal (because of COURSE they wouldn't, Terrigen was used to bring back Mutant powers before)
Hell one of the Inhumans comic books at the time was literally about NOTHING else then saving Mutants from the terrigen cloud. Even Blackbolt and Medusa killing Scott makes sense. Their the leaders, they gotta take care of their people. Hell Blackbolts part of the Illuminati and was great friends with Professor X so ya know...probably had some sore feelings with seeing his murderer right there

Marvel attempting to punish Fox because THEY chose to sell the rights to their characters years ago when actuality they're hurting the fans of the series. Actually we had events where heroes were fighting villains but these events are smaller. Large events usually have hero vs hero because that way more heroes can be shown on pages:P

Supposedly, something that occurred in this story turned public opinion against Cyclops, the X-Men, and mutants in general. This story doesn't even bother to explain what. It gives you the idea that Marvel had nothing planned Lemire and Soule had to slap something together at the last minute so they could do IvX.
Marvel's handling of the X-Men over the past few years has been awful...

when i read this i hated it, i kept thinking why is scott being so rash? he is a tactical genus an one of the greatest leaders in marvels history, but finding out it was a grieving emma fueled by hated towards the people she thinks are responsible for the death of the man she loved, its a great twist, i dont understand why people (young scott, young jean, storm ect) have mentioned scott as the buggy man since screct wars, i dont see how what he did here earned the title of world most hated mutant, in extraordinary x men they

I bought the first and fourth issues and that was too generous. The art and story were quite underwhelming and yet again, a classic x-men lies dead and forgotten.
Emma is turning back into her old self..... okay she always was her old self. Mags is Mags..... This will be good!
