Ya but we had to deal with a lot of stupidity such as, making evil super clones; revealing your identity to the world even if you don't have too; Hiring super villains to hunt down your friends; refusing to negotiate; Attacking people even when they didn't actually violate the law your fighting about. Heck the writers didn't even have a consistent idea of what the super human registration act actually says which is why the details of the law seemed to change from book to book.

All of this is Medusa's fault. She had the technology to gather up the clouds and condense it back into crystals. And Medusa certainly didn’t need to gas people, there are other ways to active latent Inhuman’s powers, case in point Daisy Johnson aka Quake. And the way they justified it was because of their “culture” which doesn’t mean jack shit when it starts killing people. And Emma wouldn’t have gone crazy if Black Bolt didn’t murder Cyclops in cold blood for neutralizing a cloud that can kill him. And Black Bolt wouldn’t have needed to kill him if they didn’t release the terrigen cloud which they already knew was deadly to Mutants as established by the incident where Quicksilver tried to do what they did on Mutants and fatal results happened with MEDUSA chastising him for it.

Which considering how much Moongirl hated the idea of becoming an Inhuman means that supposed little cute maguffin shows that she is responsible for the whole event. If she had decided to destroy the cloud when she first became an inhuman no-one could have stopped her.
The Inhumans are just came across as dicks. Marvel can bang on about how they were working with Beast for a cure and got people out the way. But we know they put themselves above innocents even if they were mutants. That makes them the villains in any other story.

I like the inhumans much better than the mutants, while yes there are good stories and characters in the mutant landscape, I feel that the inhumans are much more level headed and plus their base of operations doesn't get blown up three times a week. Also, a lot of them have much cooler powers.

I've always loved how Emma teetered the line between hero & villain, but that balance has been disrupted. I don't like Emma as a full blown villain, especially when Magneto's there. It makes more sense to me (character-wise, but not power-wise) that Magneto would've been the one manipulating everyone & then betraying the X-men (kind of like he does in those lackluster Fox movies). In those movies they gave J-Law Mystique more of a personality like Emma from the comics (except Emma's nowhere near as naive or indecisive, but rather cunning & manipulative) .

This whole event was extremely pointless and just an excuse to kill off the X-Men so that the Inhumans can take their spotlight. The whole conflict was pointless, and if the X-Men spoke first before resorting to violence, they would have not lost so many members and keep mutant kind safe, but no, Emma Frost instead tries to kill the Inhumans for a crime they didn't commit and after so many years of redemption and being good, Emma is now just as much as a villain as Cyclops was before he died. In the end, this whole story arc was extremely pointless and carried no weight or impact whatsoever.
