My shave of the day contained a feather blade for the first time. After de shaving for nearly 8 years now I finally made the jump. Very minimal feed back from the after shave! Very pleased! My first thought was that I needed to tell Paul!
That's a fine shave Paul. I'm from Denmark.
As her Majesty the Queen of Denmark Margrethe II is abdicating her Throne today, passing it on to her son, our new to be King Frederik X.
I tried keeping my shave of the day, kinda Royal, or as close i could get.
I shaved with my 1940's Gold Gillette Aristocrat, because Margrethe was born in 1940.
For the blade, i used a King C. Gillette DE blade.
For the brush, i used my Simpsons King Charles III Coronation Chubby 2.
For the soap, i used Ariana & Evans Ultima Cathedral.
Did 3 passes with a few pick-ups.
Used Thayers Original Witch Hazel with aloe vera.
Moon Soaps Warmest Regards after shave splash.
And Finished it off with Nivea After shave sensitive balm.
May the King live forever.

Hi Paul. Great shave. I used
over 100 wilkinson british
blades in the mid 70's and
also in 1980/81 when i
bought them in London.
Superb blades,that's all
i can say. Now we can
only find the german
ones which i find more
rough and don't last a
half they used to.
Times change....
Good afternoon Paul!! Very nice shave, fabulous flower set thanks Mrs H!!

Good morning to you both. Lovely flowers Mrs H. Great shave. Nice simple one. Im back to work today after a week off. My own shave was my parker 96r, with proraso green soap. And skin bracer after shave. Its just horribly cold here, with a -27 this morning. Anyone in this area of the states be safe. You both enjoy your day Paul 👍🍺
Great shave Paul 💈 Wow thats a good blade! Hope you enjoyed your Lamb love lamb. We had meatballs mashed potatoes potatoes veg and Lashento's of gravy! Stunning flowers Mr H 💐 Hope you both have a great week ahead 💈💐💈
Hi Paul Really enjoy your video presentations: always very detailed, informative and instructional. Also appreciate your cheerful and upbeat demeanor. Can always depend on your videos - Wednesday and Sunday like clockwork. Mrs. "H"'s flower arrangements are always beautiful.
I started to do my own hair just before the first lockdowns late 2019 / early 2020. My hair had been thinning for a while and I decided enough was enough. Bought some clippers and have been Grade 0 all over the head and Grade 4 on the beard twice a month, with a a DE shave twice a week to keep the beard trimmed and looking smart ever since!
The wife is working today, so my daughter and I are having haggis, chips, and lashentos of gravy for tea.
Big snow in east Tennessee, nice quality products here...good shave Paul!
I like how you discuss cooking and shaving at the same time. Roast lamb sounds wonderful. Save the crispy bits for me!
I paused the video when you mentioned people commenting on their meals or the day. It made me think how my meal choices have been largely pot luck lately, and quite varied. My shaves have mostly been good, but equally varied. Have a great week.
SOTD here will be TOBS Shaving Shop cream, Col Conk brush, Parker 78R with Asco blade, and Duke Cannon menthol & sandalwood aftershave. Great lather you made there Paul
I usually get 10-15 shaves from Astra Green, Wilkinson Sword and Derby. I clean the blade and razor after each shave. Sometimes I change for the sake of changing, the blades are so cheap but still, I don’t like waste.
We are really hot 🥵 in Perth now, just starting our summer. Most days are 36 degrees but can get to 40+
Mrs H must be like me, looking ahead to spring..beautiful display, thank you. Nice shave Paul💈💈 My first Edwin Jagger DE89 was the smooth handle chrome one, still use it often. Soap looked good and those blades are legendary, very hard to find these days. SOTD: PAA "Sangre De Draco" soap/splash/EDP, Rockwell 6S w/Nacet blade, Paladin custom badger brush, alum, witch hazel and AV 5in1 balm....Stellar. Great video and results today, thanks. Philly Cheesesteak on garlic butter toasted hoagie roll, steak fries and cold beer today. Enjoy the start of the new week.
Gorgeous display of flowers made my non other than Mrs. H. great shaving video, i´ve shaved 10 + times with multible blades, might as well use the blade as much as you can even more economical cough cough in the rapid hole of DE shaving i mean instead of only using a blade once or twice like many do, yeah here as well we´ve been " promised " snow from Monday. stay safe, cheers....Peter
Big snow on the Great Plains of Nebraska. No internet for 3-days.Just seeing Sunday shave👍.Yaqi rainbow for me also,a blade not used ever Asco, soap GF Trumpers rose 🌹 not used enough, Gillette 3-ps 20s replace in gold Muhle r89 handle. Great touch
Hey Paul another great Sunday shave 🪒.
Mrs.H did another amazing arrangement.
My SOTD...I'm going to use my Edwin Jagger DE 89 also. Blade is a Gillette Silver first use. Brush is the Yaqi red marble handle with a tuxedo 28mm knot. It's a cold one here today so I'll be using my artisan made scuttle. Soap and splash is A&E Aromique.
Your Sunday lamb roast sounds perfect save me place 😅.
Take a
🎉🎉🎉🎉 another excellent performance Paul...
Hi Paul, nice shave, here in St Jerôme, near Montréal , we had 30 centimeter of snow.
Hello from Toronto, Canada. To let you know that I enjoy your videos very much. I have an Edwin Jagger DE89L as well and like it very much.
SOTD will be King C Gillette razor, Wilkinson Sword blade, Dear Barber shave cream, lavender WH, Grey Flannel aftershave, and followed up with Nivea shave balm. Outstanding arrangement by Mrs. H! Have a good week, Paul!
My dad wears grey flannel. I do too sometimes it's a very strong scent. How's the king c gillette?
@@nphilly420 Lol! Yes, Grey Flannel is what one could consider a “Dad” scent!🤣 I am 66 and remember when it came out when I was in high school. I still wear Old Spice and Brut. The King C does a great job I have found. It’s one of my go to’s. Great price also.
Hi Paul,
Looked like a great shave.
Just for your info, the sound quality on your video, is 1st class along with the video quality.
Nice to see the different razors and soaps, the soap you used looks really good.
SOTD Rex Konsul XL , Wilkinson Sword “classic “ blade , Proraso Pre Shave, TOBS shaving cream “shaving shop”, TOBS traditional super badger brush, Floris Number 89 aftershave & Floris Number 89 edt .
Happy Sunday Paul from upstate NY; all my girls love when I watch you because its so relaxing. Btw, just got a sleeve of WS blades for Christmas and get the longest use from them as well!
Good shaving video as always! And I remember well what blade you used to shave for a very long time - it was Wikinson Sword Gillette. Made in India. Thanks Paul and Lowri!👍
Happy Sunday Paul! I am very pleased to see you get so much enjoyment from those vintage Wilkinson Sword blades. Perhaps that blade has 3 to 5 shaves left based on my experience. I believe I included a Personna 74 blade for you; that blade will exceed 20 shaves. However nothing is as smooth as the British WS blades. Take care😊
Great shave Paul. I like the German Wilkinson blades too. They are really underrated in my opinion. Never tried the British ones...
Could you not use one of the vintage de blade sharpeners to make those Wilkinson sword blades last longer for myself I found a really nice Wilkinson sword 7 day vintage razor set you have to strop the blades and I use a 100 year old kamisori to trim up my son keeps borrowing that to shave himself keeps its edge really well try one you’ll like it I bet
Morning Paul, i was lucky enough to procure a few tucks of the WS British blades and agree there's nothing that beats them for sharpness and smoothness. It's a pity they're no longer made in Britain. Regards, Mark
Very nice shave Paul!!!!!
Great shave, Paul! I can get 10 shaves out of Derby Usta or Astra Green. Usually I do a weekly change of blades, whether it's 5 or 7 uses. I do a two pass shave usually, so that's the sweet spot for me. And I've just ordered an Edwin Jagger razor, can't wait for it to be delivered. Have a great weekend!
Plans for a shave... I just got my full Future Fiction set from PAA. So I'm doing pre-shave with PAA The Cube; PAA Future Fiction soap; Going to use my REX Ambassador with a superinox blade, 1st use; with some Future Fiction "Star Jelly" aftershave.
It might take some convincing, as I have some pretty picky eaters... But I'd like to make some ground beef steaks covered in poblano and monetery-jack, fried potatoes, swimming in some flavorful beef gravy. Maybe some red kidney beans and some broccoli as sides.
Morning Paul,another great video
My DE89L is my go to razor and ure advice of regular cleaning and polishing keeps it looking like new
SOTD DE89L Treet platinum blade great combo ,Erasmic soap ,Thayers rose witch Hazel, first time using it pinaud clubman vanilla aftershave and nivea sensitive cool post shave balm
MOTD Full Roast Chicken dinner and some Guinness
Hi Paul- Great shave; thank you! Lovely flowers from Mrs H; many thanks to her, as always! Dinner sounds great! Have a nice start to the week. Be safe and be well. See you on Wednesday for the mid-week shave. All the best, Paul.
I waiting on a badger brush and sandalwood tobs courtesy of amazon. Once I get that is shaving time. I look like a caveman on 7days growth head and face
Beautiful flowers, thank you Lowri!
Good morning Paul, great Sunday shave! Very nice lather!
Have both a great Sunday!
Morning, that frost could be the ice age we all learned about , Before they invented global warming. :o)
Good morning Paul, I took your advice, meaning you have talked for years about how you like Wilkinson Sword blades. I bought some Wilkinson Sword blades, but they are the German ones. I like them better than the Indian ones of the same brand. This is my favorite shaving channel. I don't watch the others as much anymore. Also, just as "3,2,1...pickup time, baby!" is a Paul H classic move, please bring back the ventriloquist 🤣🤣🤣 Super classic Paul H move that would be a shame to see go away!
Nice Paul. I’ve recently acquired a Pearl Flexi Black Edition so I’ll be using that today for the 1st time with a Willy’s blade. Have you had any experience with those blades? What do you think? Cheers, happy Sunday 👍
You should go to the barber they need to make a living too.🤨😎
No point in asking what you are having if he's not replying
You noticed too?

@@sergeylazarev4569 I don't post too because he's not answering anymore. He could just like the comments with a heart and doesn't bother doing it. Still one of the greatest wet shavers...
@@kostasintzes9958yes, he is. But Kensurfs attitude I like way bette
