first time i have seen a nanospace lift installed. it is a lot easier and less graft than we had to do in the 70s and 80s with high speed passenger lifts.

Ohhhh smart. If I interpret this correctly the counterweights are a bit overbalanced to coax a bit more payload from the motor since this seems to be push/pull. Elegant system.
Wish there was an option to not have the motor in a pit. Live in Florida and our community was built in the early 70's and the elevators need to be replaced. But, one of the issues is they need to get everything out of the pit due to tropical season at least once or twice a year flooding the pit area. As a result they have to shut down the elevators during any high rain periods to prevent the motors from being shorted.
Depending on how many openings there is in hoist way of the new elevator, determine how long it takes to to build.. Not no 2 weeks from beginning to end.. No way..
When I saw the controller on the 1st floor right next to the elevator in a panel I then knew it was a MRL (Machine Room Less) system before the bottom mounted drive machine was even shown. They take much less power then the larger geared and gearless drive machines in a rooftop/basement elevator machine room.
I know of cable lift elevators and hydraulic elevator for just a few floors. But I have wondered why elevators did not use a jack screw mechanism. I suppose the flex in the drive screw would be a problem with taller installations. Screw drive would be very smooth and quiet with little car fall risk except for major structural failure.
Screw lifts exist but only in very small industrial applications and then only with a very low head. They are *very* expensive to build and to maintain. Also slow as F. They are only one step up from gear lifts, yes with a rack and pinion.
Can the air ventilation of the air flow be control . Example the speed and the qaulity of the AIR circulation from the ceiling at the time length to be control it or just by the setting selected time assess and access temperory or permanent by the controller technician or just by the setting computer machine generate auto only at a selected timing daily or weekly or monthly of the speed air flow circulation inside the lift of any ventilation guidelines to be learn and known and study.
Hi, thanks for reaching out. Please contact your local KONE team and they’ll be happy to help you. You can find contact details for where you are from the local website: kone.com/en/local-website-selector.aspx Thank you!
A marvellous piece of engineering, but it's concerning that both the motor and its control unit are located at the bottom of the lift pit. All it takes is one leak/flood and your motor is fried.
This installation looks similar to an Otis Gen 2 MRL with compensating sheaves top of the shaft guiding the rope from the counterweight of a 2:1 roping normally anchored to the top of the shaft, but over to the opposite (left side) of the cab. Right side ropes upwards to the gear-less machine's driven sheave to the compensating sheave on the counterweight. The elevators were recently modded this year, compensating sheaves were placed top of the cab, one each end. Hoist ropes were anchored on cab side, and counterweight side top of hoist-way.
TWO WEEKS!? That's "fast and trouble free"!? From the initial pitch I thought you'd say something like two days. How long does it take when it's "slow and troublesome"?
itll take two weeks for the other subs to finish power, fire, phone, masonry and plumbing once the install is complete...then u have to get on the inspectors schedule
2 weeks? lol. Maybe in the test tower. The other trades have to get fire life safety, power, phone lines, etc. brought in. Plus an entire demo is a weekish. Imagine scheduling inspection before you even man the job.
The motor is placed at the bottom of the pit, where the entire bottom gets flooded, of course it's a system designed to have very high maintenance costs.
thanks youtube algorithm.

Já fui montador da kone .é já montei ese tipo de elevador. Excelente equipamento.
É é parece que o Kone está de volta ao Brasil

More comfort in less time
Ohhhh smart.

Elegant system.
KONE refuses to pay anything to the inventor of this idea but puts a trademark and is marketing this revolutionary new hoisting concept.
Türkiye'den ekip alımı yok mu
This does seem like an interesting design of lift. :)
Great ideas and great solutions. Congratulations.
For over 25 years my father installed elevators with Schindler, Kone, and Schumacher
Lol the amount of pits I've seen in water..... 🤔 Looks cool tho
Exactly what I was thinking.
That’s quite literally why this elevator doesn’t exist in the US and elevator companies stopped making bottom-drive systems. lmao
Kone makes some nice lifts
Kone elevators are so smart
Awesome technology nano space
First time I saw this unic technology we hv seen monospace then mini space nano space experience of comfort
Then the pit gets water in it and wreck the machine.
Was just about to say the same, Otis did this years ago and it was horrible.
That's why you need a FitPit Elevator System.
They say that the machine can survive subwater conditions.
There's pumps for shaft pits that pump out any accumulated water on the shaft floor preventing just that.
That’s why bottom-drive systems aren’t made anymore in the US as far as I know.
Wish there was an option to not have the motor in a pit. Live in Florida and our community was built in the early 70's and the elevators need to be replaced. But, one of the issues is they need to get everything out of the pit due to tropical season at least once or twice a year flooding the pit area. or have a second motor above the hoistway as a part time replacement.
They do have alternative options to counter your problem.
The motor usually isn't stored in the pit
wizbang68 what about a sump pump and pit?
Depending on how many openings there is in hoist way of the new elevator, determine how long it takes to to build.. Not no 2 weeks from beginning to end.. No way..
Hmm this video makes it look so easy, those who work in the lift industry will know that the installation is far more complicated.....
Aegys TierOne if you know what you’re doing, nothing is complicated
This is just to give you an overview.....
the elevator is larger than the doors and smells like 40 year old slim jims
Nice elevator
Very unique design.
yes, it is. But I don't know if they're available in the US
Finnish Liftours No they're not available in US.
@@elevatorsinrussia2597 rip, but I'm asian 😀
@@Finntrans They’re not in the US, and for good reason too.
kone is number 1 in callback rate. next to otis and schindler. based on our building equipped with different elwvator brands😅😅😅😅
What about Johnson?😅
Hoist point is on the guide rails? 3.50. .? Grazy
Who made the ecodisc lift voice
good job

Very nice 👌
Great idea until the pit gets flooded....LOL and I guarantee it will
What is in side momin size.
I hope that they already do know how often there is water and high humidity in bottom of the shaft?
Is KONE nanospace good for a house??
Yes
Likely not. These are intended for replacement of older lifts, not new installs.
What types of buildings are these most common in?
Nice job
Well done
AS THE MACHINE IS IN THE PIT IT WILL CREATE PROBLEM IN RAINY SEASONS IN PLACES WHERE WATER LOGGING IS AN ISSUE
Amazing!
4:35 Why is the stator of the motor rotating...
2 weeks? 🤔😲
hungrynapps no shit...where I work 1 elevator takes 6 months...

What would be the ball-park figure in INR for a six-story building?
A marvellous piece of engineering, but it's concerning that both the motor and its control unit are located at the bottom of the lift pit. All it takes is one leak/flood and your motor is fried.
Since when is the motor room in the pit??
When there is no room anywhere else.
we have been expected more supportive treating from the company????
Phoebe Johnson 😎😎😎😙👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌
Very Nice
Honestly the rails and brackets they were demoing looked brand new still.
very nice

We hate Gen 2s
I ❤ lifts

What did you expect?
Months.
Price for 400 Kg
what kind of software is it for design and simulate elevatror?
So where does the safety break hide in this design (clamps the lift to the rails if it's detected to go too fast)?
Under the platform

Super Lift
We don't have nanospace here.
👍-up
Sir apply process Bata saktey Ho join karna hai company
Very good video

Next generation elevator will be electric magnetic rail
someone please tell me the software to design this stuff and simulation

Don’t let the shaft turn opened. Is dangerous for other people to fall in

Paano mga tao ma fit kasi narror imo na cab space. Ang 4-door lifts ang load ay 1600-21/ 2000-26
Why isn't this available in the Americas? Oh I just forgot we are fat
It's actually because the motors in the pit won't work there due to heavy flooding & storm surges
Koné is very Nice
I thought Kone was pronounced as cone not connie
i dont trust belts. seems like a system designed to have high maintenance costs.

motor in the pit sounds like a recipe for disaster
Why is this on my recommended?
But more importantly......why did I watch it?
