Kyle, I teach 8th grade math and I have shown some of your videos in my class, especially the ones where you say "Math never lies.". The geometry of the building is awesome. All the triangles make it super strong. I push my students to look to the skilled trades for jobs after high school. O show the math you use. Rise/run, Pythagorean Theorem, and standard geometry skills. Keep up the great work. Most important math equation that I give my students is Work = Money. Love the videos.

Love your videos. I was wondering if a customer has ever requested if you would do a net zero or passive house building? Or if you would even be willing to try and take those extra step to achieve the requirements for this process. I have found articles on theory that it could work but no one that has actually done it yet.

Kyle, seeing how you have evolved over the years as a builder is really sweet, but seeing it put together through these magnificent shoots and camera work is phenomenal! One thing I would like to see more of is some of the personal safety aspects of your jobs such as this build where I could vaguely see people wearing harnesses and being tied off but perhaps taking a minute or two to highlight a little bit of proper fall protection requirements and how you guys put it all in practice. Thanks and God bless!

In response to your request for comment, I share the same feelings. When i use to do rough framing, it was always so satisfying walking to your truck after a long couple of days of building walls and hanging trusses that alone were just pieces of wood being nailed together but when you stand at the curb and take a peak back you see a masterpiece. It is an art i think. Not many people see it that way.

All I can say is WOW! I have been watching your videos for over a year now, and it is nice to see a building go up. And I agree, the skeleton of your buildings is true art! I am located in Eastern Washington state, where we also get a ton of wind. Average around 10 -20, with a few 100+ mph storms thrown in for fun. We need to get a building built sometime soon, 40'X 30' with a high ceiling so if any of our rigs need work on top, we can access them safely and easily We plan on tall roll-up doors in both gables, and man doors so we can drive through the structure to load and unload the RV. The building will be used mostly as storage for our rigs. and a shop for our farm. Right now, it's a dead giveaway when we leave, because our rigs are visible from the road. and an extended Wheelbase (155" total wheelbase) on our Van and 30' RV really leave a hole in the place when they are gone. Windows placed high up on the walls is a great idea as well, though we will have windows low as well to allow as much light in as possible. The lower windows will probably be covered with a masking agent to prevent snooping. I have no idea what this will cost, but I know it will be a bunch. Insulation and temp controls as well.

Correct me if I am wrong, but it doesn't look like you are building from a "kit," such as Morton, or Clearey or whoever, rather it looks like you are scratch building each one. I am also impressed with your attention to detail, as an obsessive compulsive type, I really pride myself in making the finished product "look" right, and it seems you do as well. I watched a couple of your tool reviews, and I am pleased to hear honesty, and not just hype. Kyle, really enjoy your videos. I own a plumbing/mechanical/electrical/building company next door to you guys in MI. Really understand what you mean about the lines of construction for both building and when we do a big machine piping job...so no...not weird at all. It may be us germanic guys or its just OCD, either way, it is the act of creation..of creating order from the chaos of a pile of parts. Straight square level and plumb...its my happy space. Cheers from the motor city.

I agree. It's satisfying to see the bones of a building.
    Keep up the great work.
    Merry Christmas.
    God bless.

I’m with you I love the open ceilings. Are used to go to a church with an open ceiling and all the trusses were just beautiful, it was hard to pay attention to what was going on.

Hey Kyle, you’re spot on with the bare structure view, in your words “looks killer” very good description I reckon.

Was doing a 60x80 shop once. Just me and another guy putting the tin on the roof. Freak gust of wind came in and carried a single sheet probably 3km we could see it going through the next field. Lucky neither of us got hurt or anyone else.

On the last part of the cieling, when it's dark, it looks like you're welding the panels... (I know - it's the lights on the screw guns...) Nice quick simple buiid, great video.

You guys are the BOMB. I just wish you were from my area so I could hire you to build mine. And I agree with you Kyle. When I was young, I used to love framing. Always seemed to be the most satisfying.
