I saw them in a really small PACKED club just as the album came out and it is one of my favorite shows I’ve ever seen. For a long time M Doughty said it was his favorite show they had ever done.

I’ve always been a firm believer of music as an art having a huge impact on people’s daily lives! I loved how you said it As music lovers music should always be changing our lives If not we’ve let our listening experience become stale! I don’t know that my life has been affected more by music than since joining this music community! This was great Logan! ✨✌️👽✨

If you haven't read the book Johnny Got His Gun by Dalton Trumbo, I recommend. It's the origin of Metallica's "One." My first time seeing Zappa live was in 1974. I was still in high school and it was my first rock concert. Very cool listening to you describe these records and their impact.
Yes! I actually bought the book in fifth grade because of the video. Don’t think I ever finished it, but props to Metallica for getting a fifth grader into Dalton Trumbo.
Really enjoyed this one, Logan. Modest Mouse wasn’t singularly responsible for guiding my taste in one direction, but them along with a few others bands at the same time did. I initially ignored Soul Coughing. But 5 years after Ruby Vroom came out, a friend of mine played it in his car on a road trip. Blew me away. Sometimes it’s just time and place.
I definitely know Fourteen Autumns has sort of a cult celebration status in the all time shoegaze word. Forget The Night Ahead is a little more accessible and direct but it’s perfect to me.
