    I sent my EB832 into Neptune for repair and they charged me $175 to repair. Now I have a few power supplies on hand that I picked up for less than 4 bucks and will repair myself from here on out. Pick up some Solder wick to de solder next time you need to perform this fix. 👍

    Wish I saw when I discovered the exact same problem. Excellent instruction for the fix. Bought a new bar (discounted from Neptune) but will keep and fix the old one as a spare.

      I was looking for answers on reef2reef and couldn't find anything. You should send the article link. I swear their search function doesn't work properly. If I'm having an issue someone else has to be having the same issues and likes to tear into things.

    I love you....!!!!! Thank you... espero que sea mi solución. Se fue y vino la electricidad de golpe y fue ahí cuando fallo mi apex. Tiene el mismo problema que comentas. Voy a comprar y reparar, te dejo saber el resultado. Gracias por tan valiosa informacion.

    Those are capacitors. And they do tend to be a high failure item in electronics. If you're going to swap the entire sub board then desoldering the pins from the top is FAR easier. Then just place the new board on the pins and resolder. The key is flux. It will help in both directions. Also it would be an even better move to test the caps on the "bad" board to find the issue. If it's a bad cap then it's a .30 repair.

    I followed all your steps but I can not longer connect to my fusion and I cannot get the blue light to come on. Has anyone had this issue?

    • @mustafaadel9219
      @mustafaadel9219 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hieuuunguyenduc310 finally i tried it by my self and its totally fine and working i even tried a hair dryer, still the apex will give you a voltage triangle warning and will not read the power consumption for each outlet let correctly.
      I have a video to approve that i can send it to you.

    Good to know about the fix, but oof that soldering is no bueno. I'm not trying to be a dick, but that is some super sketchy to dangerous work that nobody should ever repeat. You never want to bore out the through hole on a PCB like that. There is a pad that connects to a trace inside the PCB that you have destroyed which is why you have balls of dull looking solder instead of nice and shiny divots. You are dealing with mains to DC conversion on those traces and there is probably very minimal connection between the leg and the trace inside the PCB which could arc and potentially burn your house down.
