Thankyou aunty sue for the glasses, wow is exactly what I said when they arrived to day x We will treasure them and put a picture of them on our group so all can see x Thanks ever so much 😘
Hi Peaky's ,,,,,,,, I see you folks found some interesting things to day ,, That's a great idea of the boat tags for Sunday's live ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, See Ya Sunday ,,,, Thanks
Marie, your research is very good and very welcome. Look out for me on the Live comment list, I'd love one of those plaques!! As always ye have been entertaining, educational & a welcome distraction for us! Stay Safe & Keep Pulling!!
Glen could that metal piece with the numbers on it be the backdrop for an old hospital based blood pressure machine? I’m a nurse - the numbers are the same.
Thank you for the little snippet of the WW2 scrap collecting, That bit of a odd disk Marie found could be the balancing weight from an engine crankshaft. The piece of circular metal with the teeth on its inside rim is possibly a piece of a flywheel from a small engine, like a mower. I had a stuck flywheel on one that in trying to remove it had the center break our and pieces break out of the side. Likely made from "pot metal". Great find on the pistol. Too bad you are not allowed to keep it.
Hello Peaky’s.😊 if all goes well, I plan to be here Sunday for the live. ( unless of course it’s during supper time) Some pretty good finds! Love the little charms.❤ Probably a gift to a young lady from her Boo and they broke it off so she tossed it in the water. Silly girl. 😂 I just love how y’all show “the finds” at the end and the history in the middle. Thank you for going the extra mile.
I love the little charms. They were so cute!! Once again Marie love the history lesson. Very informative. Thank you guys for the great videos. Love u guys❤
I found a bayonet exactly like the one at 7:37, do you know what it’s called and what years it was made from? Thank you for any help and once again another great video Glen and Marie.
Hi Marie and Glen. So good to see you today. It either measures the water level or it was a outside thermometer. I love all the small charms. Love the videos. Cheers from the USA. Love you all.
Two things Glenn. One the montage made my wife cry like a baby. So whoever is responsible for that needs to get their props. Second way to go on the gun! You found yourself a proper gun there! Congratulations! Tom and Peggy
looks more like a thermometer gauge thing from something very cold, water gauge level would have the numbers from low to high not high to low I would think

Awww Marie when you tell a story like the recycling story you almost had me crying. Thank you. I hate guns as well. Canada as very strict gun laws.
Hello Sweet Nigel
I love the way you talk to all of us and give details on all the finds.
Thanks Rose x
Just walked past u at the Trent bridge knew it was u straight away!!
Hi greyson ,
Yes it was us , an excellent day off the bridge then moved down to the fields below.
bar with a knuckle looks like a towing bar for a AA gun or cannon ?

Hello Peaky's... keepin Rusty outta trouble???
Hi Joey x
Amazing charms, & other gteat finds. Do you have to give the shotgun shells in with the gun to the police ?
Thanks Patricia x
Shot gun shells are actually allowed to be kept but I got the police to have them off me with the gun as I don't want them in my home xx
Can't wait for the lives! Ya gotta work on that American accent 🤣. Luv what you all do, best of luck!
Thanks Card x
My father has a PPK in his collection. We are allowed to own them... nana nana boo boo!!
I wouldn't keep it even if I was allowed to, not into guns or knives.😂
As I said on my video
WHAT DID THEY USe the collected rags for ?
❤❤❤❤
Glen, that american accent sounded like penelope pitstop 😂
🤣🤣
Check your mud ha ha ha
I’ve caught up now. Missed the live. Nice finds, Well done handing the gun over and the speech stipulating how important it is not to keep them in your possession 👍
Thanks Lancashire x
Nigel is always late 😅
The rules are the same here in the US for possession of a firearm unlicensed, mandatory 2 year sentence....
🤗❤️
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
You need GoPros so you can stop walking back and forth to the camera
Gun cocked is not SAFE!
It wasn't cocked, i said it was by accident.
The police took it away that day once the call was made
Same gun laws apply here in the USA. If found no matter how it must be turned in.
I think America could take a lesson on English laws and they might not have the trouble they have
My mom would sometimes reminisce about collecting scrap with her sisters. I wish we could pull together like that.
Agree Terma x
