Huge disrespect to the Avs
Don’t be shocked if Colorado is back in the Finals
They look like a juggernaut since the deadline. Getting Johansen out of dodge was key and the additions are perfect for this team. When the Avs can confidently roll all four lines, good luck everyone else. I’d have had them at 5 prior to the deadline and I have them as either 1a or 1b with the Oilers right now and that will be decided on Saturday.
My only issue with Colorado is depth. I mean I could see them being out in the first round as well.
@@aaronst.pierre3080 Well, the Avs lack of depth this year is pretty much down to lacking a 2nd line due to the combination of RyJo being a black hole plus injuries/absences. The entire question with the Avs is whether the TDL moves + Nuke coming back allows slotting everyone into the correct spots in the lineup. If so, they're a serious contender. If not and the TDL additions don't gel, they'll get chewed up by the competion in the West.
I’m a diehard Stars fan, and Colorado should’ve been #1. Vancouver should’ve been #3.

Georgiev being overplayed is a tired argument. The #1 goalie plays every game in the playoffs, so you could certainly make the case that he'll already be conditioned to that kind of volume. My issue with him, rested or not, he hasn't been very good this season. That said, Av's are looking tough after the deadline.
Well Colorado just waltzed through all the teams in Western Canada and handed every one of them an L.

Av's beat em all..... playoff speed will be the difference... Vegas is #2 with a healthy Stone and Hertl IMO.... Oilers are light ~ too much finesse and lack of killer instinct....I dont trust the Oilers blue line in high intensity playoff hockey... Oilers offense also isn't deep enough. The Oilers are my favorite team so it hurts to concede.
Avs just beat Van and Oilers. Haven’t lost to Dallas. Jets haven’t lost to the Avs and should prob be #1 then #2 Avs
