Just left the house to head up to the north rim this weekend because of this video’s inspiration. First time going out there too. Thanks for bringing us these locations Cody
Mingus has nice camping up on top. Smiley Rock trail has a few tight areas that challenge full-size vehicles. It's not worth the potential damage. Head north from Jerome and play around the area southwest of Williams. There are several small lakes with open camping. Otherwise, there are beautiful remote campsites with views looking southward down off the rim. Great drone shot opportunities. Another great place to explore is the north rim area. Outside the park. Many rims edge campsites facing west. It would probably be best to check the drone flight restrictions. Keep working on it. You've got a great start, going.
Pretty much anywhere west of lees ferry, south of 89a and east of kaibab will get you to the rim. I swore I wouldn’t share the coordinates for the spot I went but that’s a little hint all you have to do now is find the trail!
My husband and I just found your channel and we’re loving it! We off road, camp, and fish most weekends that we don’t have 2 feet of snow on the ground😂 If you and your buddies and wives ever want to visit northwest Wyoming give us a shout. We’ll take you to some amazing places and get you in some cutthroat trout
That is far too tempting of an offer, I’ve always wanted to visit and get into some of that awesome fly fishing you all have up that way. Thanks for watching!
No matter how many videos you see of the Grand Canyon, it doesn't do it justice! One of those places you must see in person. Looks like we took the same trip. Was in that exact spot at White Pocket (unexpected gem) and then the Grand Canyon. That is a hard trip to be, y'all must have had a blast.
I hope your trip was just as rad as mine! We had a great time. You aren’t kidding, it’s impossible to capture the magnitude and beauty of the Grand Canyon. Definitely a special place.
@@Whitedogoverland I went solo and it was good enough that I am planning a trip to drag a few friends with me in May! All the owls while camping on the edge of the canyon were pretty trippy.
I’m a new subscriber and you’re definitely one of my favorites because I go to the same places in the white mountain area. I sold my Tacoma but still have my wife’s 4Runner. Slowly I will start visiting the places that you shared with us and thank you also.
Looks awesome! We just did a similar trip this past October, only difference was staying up in Kaibab NF right as the aspens were in peak color. Definitely will have to try the lower elevation north rim camping next time we're up that way.
I was dying to get into kaibab but NF had shut down almost all the service roads in to dispersed camp areas due to snow. I will definitely be returning back up that way. I was expecting lots of wind lower elevation but we lucked out!
I randomly camped there a few months ago on a solo trip, was going to do the hiking trail there, but since I was solo, I figured I'd find more people to go back for safety reasons. Now my Jeep is out of commission so it'll have to wait until the snow is gone and I can find some people to go back for the hike. But the sun on the rocks with the river below was viewtiful.
I would love to join your group let me know next time your planning a trip. I’m rolling a 2020 ram power wagon fully loaded and have some experience. Just look for a good group of guys to have some adventures with.
Great video. New to the channel, but definitely worth a subscribe. I'm also in AZ, so I'm excited to see where else you've adventured to. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome campsite. How did you locate the site on the north rim on the edge of Grand canyon? Would a lifted AWD sprinter van be able to handle the road?
I’d say it’s accessible but the conditions may have changed. Very Sandy deep wash on the way in. Loads of roads north rim on blm with dispersed camping options!
@@Whitedogoverland you almost certainly were on National park land. There is only actually like 1% BLM land on the north rim. Would send screenshot of Gaia maps but can’t send images in comments! Good video though thanks for sharing!
I love your content but I have one small complaint. Your intro and background music levels are so high that I have to turn the volume down, then I have turn it back up to hear your voice. A lot of youtube channels have the same problem. Love what you do and keep it up but if you could bump up your voice level just a little it would be hugely helpful.
Once again, I never reveal coordinates 🤫 You shouldn’t blame content creators who keep the spots discreet. Apps like onx and Gaia are basically free and a click away from any location you could ever want to find. This is happening locally near my town, people are over staying their welcome on national forest land. My group organizes clean ups so rangers don’t come in and take away our privilege!
No as a matter of fact not even the drone footage was acceptable. I was informed we were on the boundary line of blm land. Certainly not the case now that I’ve got the ability to look into that sort of thing. Mistakes were made now I’ve got the tools to decipher when and where things can and can’t be done
@@Whitedogoverland first time i went to white pocket there were zero people around it was awesome I currently have an fj cruiser for my overlanding but I'm thinking of getting an old tundra with camper shell put that decked drawer for my stuff and use the top as bed for my wife and pets
This was a good one 🙌🏼 truck looks great with the new camper!
Thanks brotha!
So cool you have a group of friends to caravan with. Loved all the beauty!
So fortunate to have these guys. Thanks for watching!
Your videos are so sick. I just discovered your channel and am obsessed. Super jealous of your adventures
Man thank you! Appreciate the support!
Very nice you guys. I love it. Another great peace of video and what an awesome experience. Love ya Dad!!
Glad you enjoyed it pops!

Wow! Great video as always. Thanks! You really do a nice job.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed!
Really cool video with epic sites. Thanks!. Music was a nice touch. Went along well with the video!!👍👍
Glad you enjoyed thanks for watching!
fantastic video thats the best view of the canyon i have seen. Lucky dogs.
I was blown away by that spot to say the least!
Stunning video, especially the drone shots.
Thank you!
Awesome video! One of your best yet
You’re the man thanks brotha
Amazing video, amazing views, amazing trip!!
You were an amazing participant!
Nice job! Made me a bit homesick. Our last Arizona home was on the western foot of Mingus mountain. Those areas were our playground.
Thank you! I’ve always wanted to explore that range near Jerome. That plateau looks awesome!

Those are some EPIC camping 🏕 spots.
About as epic as it gets!
Those evening colors at the Grand Canyon are something else.
Man it’s something that’s hard to grasp even in person!
Passed the vibe check. Epic.
You can say that again!

Epic video!!!
Those drone shots were spectacular!

Nice video, I have to get out your way someday soon. Thanks for sharing...new sub.
Thanks for the sub and welcome! You gotta check this state out, it’s got a lot to offer
Heading out that way in September driving from Atlanta. Hope i can find those spots lol…. Looks amazing! Great video
That’s one hell of a journey! Just stick to the blm land out here and you’ll find something rad. Thanks for watching!
Nice video great job! Looking to do a trip in that area myself in the near future. God Bless
Thank you 🙏 that area of the state is magnificent

Epic spot I want to go

Did the Grand Canyon site/trail require a permit?
Negative, anything north rim before kaibab is all blm land. Definitely need 4x4 to get in lots of the roads were very unmaintained
Stunning! Thank you
Why would one need Netflix when you've got a guitar and that beautiful sky to keep you company.
Forsure!
Awesome vid, epic camping for sure! Was it hard to get permits from the Navajo Nation?
Thank you! We were actually west of the res. Once you cross lees ferry you’re on blm land

No permits needed all blm land in the area we were at!

Bad ass spot

No doubt epic!!!
How you gain access to those trails in the Grand Canyon. I’m about to start a trio and I want to camp too. Hope you can answer. Awesome videos 🎉

I was wondering, do you need to buy permits for all the spots you camped?

It’s east and south of the 89 blm land
