Your beautiful reply comment was so soothing for a willing heart (my heart) that wanted the inclusion of 'Brihadeeshwara Temple' as one of the seven wonders. In other words, if I do not accept your view, its really painful that such a great temple is not included in seven wonders of the world and by considering your view (that it attracts unwanted tourism, pollution, etc) it consoles me, 'cos its blessing in disguise.

It is called Thanjai Peruvudaiyar Temple , likely to have been the Tallest structure in the world at the time of its Architecture. *and has got nothing to do with Hinduism or Sanata Dharma.* As usual the Northerners here in comment section have spammed with their hateful divisive hindutva ideology and shamelessly pulled their usual play trying to steal our history. It is purely Thamizh and scientific in nature. No religion no hinduism.
Tamilians were the one worshipping Shivan in the form of Yoni(Lingam, not the human form) which was later adopted by the migrating Aryan and called Hinduism for God knows why making it a religion. And to believe Aryan/Dravidian is a myth is like saying the earth is flat. enough genetical, cultural, archeological evidences have time and again proved it is no myth. India is always rich in these techniques. Another example is Sun Temple of Konark Odisha. That was also made with carving big stones and of a height of estimated 230 feet. Interesting fact is that the upper stone or the stone at the top is placed by a 12 year old child "Dharmapada".
