- Over the past five years, players have made some unconventional ways to duplicate weapons in Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Here is a list of 8 unconventional ways to multiply your weapons.
Because of the implementation of weapon durability, players have wanted ways to duplicate weapons, and we've achieved it. But just how many ways are there to do this? Most players jump to the common answer of Menu Overloading but there are some strange methods found over the years that offer some alternate ways to get your weapons duplicated.

They should have just had a blacksmith option. Lore wise, I don’t understand how durability fits the picture.
I agree. As much as I love this game, the durability thing was just silly. On top of that it made me not want to do most of the side-quests because the rewards are rarely worth it. In past Zelda games some kind of weapon was a reward, not all the time, but sometimes. Now all you get most of the time is rupees.

I like that they didn't fix all the glitches it's more fun on second play throughs to have the ability to make things more fun. Kinda like cheat codes in the past.

Shock Trap dupe honestly sounds super useful for getting a max damage Royal Guard Claymore
At least i got a max damage royal guards spear using shock trap dupe
I really just wish that that durability system wsnt in the game. It makes looking and searching for good weapons a chore since they will break soon after
And here I’ve been since I first started playing breaking my will to live to keep finding better stuff over and over just to keep something reliable on me lol

Well what if you're just starting out and don't have enough multishot bows to do it? It's good to have other methods in case MO is not available to you.

That’s awesome
Menu overload is obviously the most efficient way to duplicate weapons, combine it with a shock trap and you can also dup bows and shields. Not to mention utilizing it for infinite rupes glitch.
Actually if you do Menu Overload in your own house, you can also dupe bows and shields even without shock trap. I find it a little easier than using shocks to make yourself drop the gear

What about shields and bows? Can you duplicate those? 'Cause I'd love it if I could duplicate things like the kite shield (can only find 3 of them normally).

Yo will this work if you drop the master sword and make an enimy pick it up and use the shock trap method or will the master sword cover itself and just not duplicate ? Has anyone tried it ? I just got into glitching the game and corupted the mastersword.
ALSO when i say drop the ms i mean through other glitches

Totk came out and I'm still doing botw glitches and quests and I keep defeating Ganon for no reason

i use to do shock traps all the time, they dont work anymore

I always do the throwing or weapon rack glitch. I find those the easiest. I did not know about the horse slide method. I've done the balloon glitch a couple of times.

@@mundenius Yes. It's just a little more of a pain. You still do the same thing, you just have to make sure the bow you want you don't drop, like a multiple shot bow.
The trick is, what I do, once you overload the menu, drop the last bow you have equipped. Exit the menu. Link's hands should be free of any weapon. Next, press the bow button and then pull up the bow wheel in game play. Select the bow you want to duplicate and Link should equip it. Once you have it, go back into the main menu and select another bow. When you have that highlighted, (and there was no clicking sound,) exit the menu. Link should still have the bow you first equipped. Place it in the rack and take it back. You should have two of the same bows.
This method works on repairing your bow too. Just make sure to equipped normal arrows. You shoot the lightening arrow and your game will crash. I've done that a few times.
It takes a little practice, so I suggest saving your game first before trying this. And I find I'm having to repeat this because I find myself overloading the menu and I can't get it to highlight a weapon I want to use as a copy or just to click on a weapon I want to duplicate.

can someone please tell me how to do the shock trap duplication? when i sleep it says monster in the area or smth, id like to know how to do this
put the campfire farther away and make sure the monster doesnt see you. also maybe wear an enemy mask

Probably but people will find ways, especially if they save time and just copy and paste code of items instead of tweaking them a little.
