Some of these points are absolute fire on your strategy analysis but having played 3 times as many matches as you, regardless of a win ratio (which can often have as much to do with the team you end up with as your actual skill-especially in solo queuing), you have many faulty points. Nearly every character has their abilities that makes them useful in different situations, and makes them useless in another. Scarlet Witch may not do high damage but there’s a reason you see her so often in MVP. Her auto-aim can make or break a match depending on the skill of the player and the supports backing her up. Jeff’s hitbox is not near as much a problem if your tanks are functional in blocking the DPS from diving at the supports, and his mobility can ensure an easy escape from most DPS, both between his ability to swim in the ground and the speed boost his healing bubbles give. Hulk is pretty garbage though, I’ll give you that.
Honestly hero tier lists change a lot depending on what rank you’re in. This is mostly just for mid-high rank. Against worse enemies scarlet which auto aim is definitely extremely powerful, but against a competent duelist you will explode before dealing enough damage. You bring up a lot of good points for people playing casually with friends after work, which is the majority of the player base.
Yeah, that’s fair! I’m the only of my friends who wants to play ranked, and I have no desire to solo queue so I’ve largely just been stuck trying to get different people I know played Overwatch to try the game in hopes of getting together a decent ranked team. Even in the few ranked matches I’ve played though, a lot of people are still incompetent and it makes it so hard for me to rank up despite still doing my part. (I mostly play support)
