Note: copy hulk is not necessary a bad thing, its best used when all your skills is on cooldown and your out of clones to heal with... Since your tank is going to die anyways without enough healing, you can go in and do their job or at least buy time. Especially when timer is 0:00 where the payload is in danger of being taken away or your forced to pressure them out of it. Not to mention the massive survivability it provides. Some ultimates has delay's and can literally delete you, before you can pull it off. The best ones to steal are doctor strange which also has decent attack rate. Another note: For Copying a hulk literally lets you have two lives and every second those dps waste on you will buy your team time to kill everyone else so most of them will definitely ignore you, this lets you smack whoever squishy on the backline: Healers. Adam Warlock's ultimate isn't explained in the game very well. When you use it, it creates that bubble/area where dead teammates will revive...but after it's created, Adam generates a large radius around him for 9 seconds (you can see it marked on the ground) and any dead teammate that enters that radius in those 9 seconds will be revived at the location of the bubble. So, you can (and in many cases should) use the ultimate somewhere away from the fight behind cover (maybe near a health pack) if it looks like your side is losing/have just lost a teammate and then move toward your team like normal to support the fight. If anybody dies around you in the next 9 seconds, they'll come back at the bubble you placed.
In addition there's a hud notification for Adam's ult range if you are playing someone else it'll tell you whether or not you're out of range of his ult I'm using the base hud setup so for me it's bottom center of my screen
A tip for magneto: his barrier shield has infinite health and is only limited by a resource bar that usually lasts 2-3 seconds so you can block a ton of high damage ultimates while not losing any shield at all

Heyy C&D main here A tip for Cloak&Dagger: As Dagger, if you put down her dome and switch to Cloak, you can deal damage while being healed by your own abilities.
So once it goes away cloak and daggers healing with be irrelevant. Well shoot. I feel like it's good the way it is but if it loses 15 percent she won't be a preferred pick
A warning for the tip about Cloak & Dagger’s shroud - it does NOT work on allies if they shoot anything while they’re cloaked. So blocking key abilities actually requires a lot of coordination. It also only works on allies who are within 10 meters of you at the time you cast. So if any ally is outside of that radius, they can’t get shrouded even if you move towards them or if they move within 10 meters of you. (I used to think that it worked like Senna’s shroud from League of Legends, but it doesn’t. It’s much more clunky.)
In other words, without coordination the shroud will likely not protect you allies at all since they will always be shooting or using abilities. But it does allow you to fly for 2 seconds, making it more effective as a mobility tool then a defensive tool.
luna tip for when u get pushed by iron fist or another dive character , instead of trying to back off by just skating run enough to get the jump boost and you can chain high jumps with really good control over your direction in air it feels better for dodging certain characters than just skating away
I think one of the best Jeff ult tips is that you hold them for a LONG time. Rather than going for the 5-man ult on their team, maybe just take 3 -- and immediately spit out any allies you got -- so your team can do a 4v2 while you are "1v3ing" the rest. Divide and conquer is huge.
depends on if ur being focused on afterward or not, i usually suicide with them if im being hunted cause its better to guarentee that divide and conquer instead of being greedy
I have more hours on Mantis than any other hero so far and I've gotten to mid Plat pretty much on her back. Easiest way to carry on Mantis is using your damage boost effectively. Always boost whoever is going in for an aggressive move. At the beginning of a fight I'll always pre-heal and damage boost any divers on my team.
My favorite use for Wanda ult is defensively. Other team takes the fight and you punish them. Shoot for 2 kills. Or zone them off let your team stabilize. Or use it to pick off a support if you catch them out after your team engages. The kills are nice but the threat itself can win you fights.
Idk why Hela and Hawkeye have a 20% damage boost this season. Meanwhile Widow feels so much more balanced without it. Plus we already have heroes that damage boost like Mantis and Storm, it’s a big negative of mine. The season boosts are too free.
Yes, the damage on some heroes is way too high with these buffs. Being "seasonal", hopefully that means they'll change to something else at the start of Season 1. Thank god.
I main Adam Warlock. My tip would be to spam his alternate fire, each time following up with his primary fire. This gives him one shot potential with how fast you can follow up the alternate fire with primary fire. He is criminally underrated and can dominate in a poke meta.
@ trust me he's not. Once you figure the alternate fire out and are able to follow that up with primary fire, you'll basically be one shotting squishies like Hawkeye all the time. If you can do that and focus on your positioning he's top 3 IMO
@ yeah I think people are starting to discover his cheese🤣 he has been criminally underrated since drop tho just because he doesn't have an evade or cc
I think something that it noteworthy for Hulk, the best way to dive in and dive out is to always have your jump charging. You can use every ability while holding jump. Additionally if you copy someone with Loki that has a long ultimate try to use it later him the transform duration cause it will not change you back until the ultimate is completely over.
On that note, under the right conditions, if you copy Winter Soldier and use his ultimate, you can refresh the timer again and again, staying as him for as long as you can get kills.
Thor is really underrated. One tip is using your awakened state to engage those dps heros that stay right behind thier tank. Then either focusing tank with basic attack and thor force regen skill to go back into awakened or use the movement skill to quickly retreat back to your healers before reengaging
Another Thor tip i saw from someone else - his hammer throw animation cancels his basic attack animation, so if you left click and immediately right click you can get the damage from both attacks with only the hammer throw animation playing. This gets you a pretty good dps boost up close.
Psylocke main here with 2 tips. 1. Always attack at off angles (aim for as many headshots as possible) with the combo 1 left click, 2 right clicks (it animation cancels for speed) and another left click for highest damage possible. 2. Play with 2 hands, its easy for me cuz I'm gay but trust me, you'll do a lot better with both hands.
Iron Man tip: the repulsor blast is an area of effect, meaning shooting the ground around the target rather than directly onto it can be more effective. This is especially true for tanks that have shields like Cap, Strange and Magneto. If you shoot the ground at their feet, it still damages them even with their shield up whereas hitting the shield won’t do any damage to them.
A small Luna tip that I think is also important to know about her “E” is that it provides a healing boost to the target who has the effect on them! So if you have a low tank you can put it on them and then start healing them to swap it back to your flanker sooner
I haven't seen this tip in the comments , Moonknight is my main and found from gameplay that your your trying to escape a battle, grapple the ground with the grappler which launches you into the air and if you need to double jump and you'll be able to maneuver way better, learned that trick and it got it out of unfavorable match ups
What is that Loki skin in the video??? It's sick! Also a tip for Groot that nobody addresses is you can use your walls as a way of reaching certain high ground. Both by repositioning it into a ramp but even as a straight wall. Just build it directly under you while standing still. This is also a great way to avoid Ults that happen on the ground such as Venom and Jeff. I think it only works on his iron wall but haven't tested yet.
I might be insane, but I remember Loki having a “vote for Loki” skin from the comics and Loki show back in the beta. Either I’m crazy, they decided to scrap it, or it’s coming later.
it's really important to note that jeff's ult heals teammates when he eats them, so give your teammates a sec to heal in your tummy before spitting them out
I'm just happy to be playing a form of hero shooter again. Early OW was fun. But all the crap that happened and then OW2. Having a game like this on release with so many choices is fun and a breath of fresh air. Just hoping for role queues in ranked as it isn't fun to have everyone instalock DPS lol
From overwatch to Marvel rivals you have been my favorite coach.I love the way you break things down.I love your encouragement but also your honesty. I wish everyone would take a coach mill's class before even playing the game.
4:00 no dude , the anchor character actually has that buff for all the season no matter if the teamup is activated of not , I see a lot of people not knowing this , but yes it will benefit Phylock and Black Panther
Tip for survivability on Jeff almost every Ult in the game can be basically be avoided by diving underwater like if your in the middle of a Jeff Ult and dive you won’t be eaten
I’m a Peni main through and through. There’s a few big things to consider such as to use your mines. Always, even in the middle of a fight. It’s 100dmg per mine and the one shot of dmg you’re missing out on does 30. The other thing is to use your cyber web on cooldown and prioritize your targets. Have a healer that won’t die? Stun them and hope your team is ready. Iron Fist, Black Panther, or Spidey rushing you? Place web down, stun, never stop shooting, and repeat as necessary. Personally, I use her ikr to either stall, hold the point, or rush the back line and break things up. It’s a very in their face play style but I usually end up doing more damage than any of the dps characters, but you’ll notice if your healers aren’t helping very quickly because of that.
I wouldn't say always use your mines. It's often more effective to wait for them to charge, retreat a moment, and artillery them into the backlines for near guaranteed healer/retreater kills. Burst can be better than chip.
PSA for Penny Parker players, The patches of web you leave on the ground/wall after either swinging or missing your alternate fire, standing in those patches provides a low amount of Healing over time. So use the swing action to get to your more permanent position and stay near that puppy, or stay attached to it and once you pull far away it yanks you back
One quick tip for Magik you must remember to use your kit first before popping ult because it resets all your cooldowns. Also your ranged slash is one of your highest dps if you hold it so you can poke well from a distance while waiting to dive
A+ cloak and dagger tip. The amount of times I’ve completely negated an ult by covering my team or smothering the enemies player is shocking. IMO the most op counter on any support. It’s such a short cooldown. It’s a double counter to Jeff’s specifically because you can levitate in it and catch yourself.
the damage boost is always active even if you dont have the team up active this is not clearly communicated in the game but you can test yourself and you'll see that magik does the same damage with or without panther on her team
I'm learning the healers 1st, then probably see if I like any of the tanks. DPS doesn't matter, I guess, since unless you are a premade team, you'll already have 3+ insta locked dps off the rip
For Cloak and Dagger. Their ultimate stacks and you cannot die in it if you stack all three moves together and stand in it. it will heal you while damaging any enemies that try to fight in it. This move can save people from certain ults as long as it not an instant death ult or headshot that will do too much damage. Dagger can also orb her feet and switch to cloak to blind and fight a flanker trying to pick off her off. This results in you usually winning the one vs one
as magik you have a one shot combo that is pretty quick and has a high engage range. It kills most heroes and even if you mess it up you will have enough chase down to finish them off will an auto or a quick charge slash.
Additionally her demon is super useful. For example if you can get close enough to a turret punisher using your two portals you can drop it and dash out forcing them to leave the turret or die.
For Hulk it might not be obvious bit you can charge your leap and keep holding it to have a maximum leap available whenever you want while still doing everything else normally. And for Thor try to mix in abilities between your basics. Animation canceling. You'll increase your DPS significantly.
Pro tip for cloak and dagger. Cloaks cloaking ability only works on teammates if they are not shooting or reloading. To save the you need to use voice chat to tell you team when and when not to shoot. Or put it in chat before the fight.
my tip for peni parker is simple: Learn where to place the mine spawner. keep it somewhere hard for enemies to see and that will be able to reach a big area. always spam the mines inside the web while fighting and after the fight is over, place the web from the other abilities somewhere your enemies are going to come from and place mines there too. There's not one match i play with her without someone from the other team cursing me.
Very true. For reference, on that peni footage, I prefer to place it on that ramp against the wall. The cart pulling up provides frontal cover and it's a really cheeky spot because it denies the whole cart. Throw mines on the inside route and tanks rushing the nest will explode. At start I'll slap it behind the rightmost pillar when looking at their spawn until we lose the spawn hold.
I love the content! I have a suggestion: You should release extended videos of in-game footage on each hero. I find myself just wanting to watch you play and soak in all the movement patterns, cooldown timings and ultimate administrations.
It's not really a tip, but something i do when I play Hulk is i go into a fight as Banner for the extra range, and when I get down to around 150, I ult. into Hulk since you gain full health back and don't take damage while transforming. It isn't perfect as if you're not quick enough, you can be killed.
Pro tip for ironman use him to flank not poke use his boosters to get behind the enemy team use armor overcharge and beam to melt tge healers in a split second.
Loki tip; His clones target what you are aiming at, so pop one clone in the middle of the enemy team and they will hit the back of tanks using a shield, or they have to focus time and resources taking it down. You get two clones with duplicate, however you can pop one up with invis skill if you quickly need one close by to get a second rune of healing down.
A niche cloak and dagger tip: the AOE cloak ability lets you fly for a very short time. So you can recover from being thrown off a cliff by Jeff or whatever it may be.
Not sure if it’s a pro tip, but most Spider-Man mains don’t know you can shoot a web shot right after your first or (I think) second primary attack combo and follow that up with an uppercut or web grab for some pretty decent damage and or combo routes. I highly recommend all spideys to go into the practice area and see what cool custom combos they can pull off. Also Devs nerf Hawkeye plz and thx
Cloak and Dagger tip- DO NOT FORGET ABOUT CLOAKS RECTANGLE ABILITY. It makes attacks significantly stonger and you can melt tanks in 3-4 seconds. Even better if you do it inside of a dagger healing bubble
As someone whose been climbing with cloak and dagger, not a pro by any means. I say their ult is just as strong if not stronger than mantis and Luna. The damage output layering youre dashes is INSANE. Obviously it doesn’t scale as high as the healing but it’s still quite game changing. Easily one of the best heroes for capture points. Another tip is that if your low, make sure to stick behind a tank, the healing they receive will be given to you as well.
Groots 3 hit combo isnt interrupted with his root attacks so as soon as u hit the root and melee u can sneak a hit in pretty quick and after your 3rd primary fire into a melee you will still do his knockback effect and throw your enemy up
With Cloak & Dagger stack the ult in 1 place to generate 750 healing per second, as long as your team stands on it and no groot puts walls ontop of it it can out-heal most ults and damage. (Honestly go and try it it's insane!)
You should do a video talking about how these games work. Like my wife just started playing video games and likes this game she just doesn’t know what a lot of the terminology and strategies mean. I’m also not the greatest so me explaining it to her would do a disservice.
As a namor player, I understand that tip but at the same time the turrets are not permanent, if you always try to set them up in the back line with good spots you won’t be paying attention to the fight as much and they might not have the best view of the enemy. When you deploy them near you they can more easily focus who you want and in a pinch act as a distraction to divide enemy fire.
@Coach_Mills just so you know you do not need a phylocke or black panther to get the 15% dmg buff for magik she has that by default it’s a seasonal buff
Lol only Star Lord main here I guess but Star Lord can easily punish grouped air targets or finish off the group around an objective if your team has chipped them down and you want to finish off characters or healers that are coming in by using his gun dance. It's basically a dome in radius and can be canceled by using the flip reload. Also have found his air mobility is great if you want to just run up on an Ironman or Storm and gun dance on them mid air. Once had an Ironman panic descend which left him in the dome of effect even longer to where I didn't even need to unload on him to finish him off.
Im sorry it was so quick and short but did I hear him right? Was the Squirrel Girl tip literally just don’t die? Because thats exactly what it sounded like.
The bonus stats for any character that has that icon showing team-ups they don't have to have the team up to get the bonus stats they get it all the time for that season
Groots who don’t pay attention are so annoying as teammates. Had one who kept using the walls, and all h ended up doing is blocking the healers (including mine) line of sight and cutting off all support to the others. Got real annoying real fast…
For Hela's ult, I would say if you find yourself with leftover shots after the fight, destroy upcoming environmental hazards. Like take away enemy cover or open your own short cuts. But again only if you have the shots left.
For Namor, I love when divers jump me. You drop both turrets then go into aqua bubble. The turrets will work hard while you're up, and you can size up your javelin throw while in the bubble
For Loki, remember that your ult won't cut off a copy's ult. Meaning you can wait until the last second before using the copy's ult and still get all of Psykocke or Iron Fist's ult
Rocket tip. Don't be afraid to ride Groot. You're helping your tank gain the focus of an enemy, and actually making it easier to heal your tank since you're just shooting at your feet. Also your shots can activate groots awakened walls.
For Luna, if you can somewhat predict an enemy's ult charge, you can save her freeze to completely ruin someone's day. There's nothing more satisfying than wasting a Thor or Witch's ult.
This might be very obvious for 23:43 Squirrel Girl. But her shots have a parabolic trajectory. This is good and bad. Firing very far away i will always miss. But aim high and i can stll ping an acorn off thier forehead. But it also allows for indirect fire. And can be combined with bounce. But taling on iron man or storm is a lesson is frustration. I got the kills, but i have the losses mkre often.
If you played clock and dagger more than once and didn’t know you can bounce the heals i don’t know what ur looking at lol. . I played her once and figured that out 😂😂
4:00 magik ALWAYS has the 15% extra damage regardless of whether the teamup is active or not, that is because she is a teamup anchor this season, the same is for hela (20%dmg), hawkeye (20% dmg), spiderman (10% dmg), rocket raccon (5% healing), etc... next season these heroes and numbers will change. ps: magik is not an evasive diver, she is a high damage diver.
Uh that Thor point was pretty wildly off. You can put so so so much pressure on enemy front lines with your damage. The tip should be do everything you can to manage your F up time. Its damage is crazy and with it up you can kill divers crazy quickly, due to its huge projectile size, as well as pressure tanks and healers to focus on living.
Switching out of dagger reloads her knives, so to always give value, instead of reloading, usually you should swap to cloak, see what util you can use/plays you can make and quickly swap back to dagger
You have a split second of invulnerability when you switch back and forth so try and use a heal bubble and swap then if it’s too much pop your shroud and run
3:38 I’m not sure this is a good tip. As magic you have a lot of burst damage, enough to one shot most dps and supports. You just need to learn the combos which are pretty easy. Another thing you can do is animation cancel your swings with a quick melee. This increases your dps drastically.
Small note/correction - Seasonal bonuses are always active and dont require synergy. This was changed since early tests of the game.

Every character with the yellow icon has the buff passively the whole season, so the +150 HP, 15% dmg and 15% healing buff doesn't require a team-up.

I'm not sure whether i want to kiss Jeff or make him into Shark Fin Soup
I thought I was the only one who thought this 😂
Nerf is the correct choice
Definitely soup
Definitely kiss
Indeed brother
I haven't seen this tip in the comments , Moonknight is my main and found from gameplay that your your trying to escape a battle, grapple the ground with the grappler which launches you into the air and if you need to double jump and you'll be able to maneuver way better, learned that trick and it got it out of unfavorable match ups
Clarification - grapple the ground *directly beneath you* to launch upwards
@AndreyKrichevsky thanks man way easier then what I said
sometimes i wish there was a mini map cuz i just dont see my tm position
Ikr
You can preload hulks jump while smacking people so you have max jump on the go and you can also deflect with Hawkeyes get off me tool sword
23:02 “A hanzo”😂 same coach same
From overwatch to Marvel rivals you have been my favorite coach.I love the way you break things down.I love your encouragement but also your honesty.
So use the swing action to get to your more permanent position and stay near that puppy, or stay attached to it and once you pull far away it yanks you back
Another tip for Punisher, when he is on the turret he is immune to CC including Jeff eating him
I can confirm this is false I’ve been eaten many times while on turret and use punisher quite a lot
I havent heard this voice in so long this makes me happy
As Peni a good tip if your looking to be a little more offensive is to aim a bit higher to lay mines at a distance.
At start I'll slap it behind the rightmost pillar when looking at their spawn until we lose the spawn hold.
i saw you were in a game against aspen and I was like OMG coach millss that's so cool
Also Cloaks shroud ability if used at the right time can negate ultimates such as Scarlet Witches for anyone nearby.
Loki tip;
His clones target what you are aiming at, so pop one clone in the middle of the enemy team and they will hit the back of tanks using a shield, or they have to focus time and resources taking it down.
You get two clones with duplicate, however you can pop one up with invis skill if you quickly need one close by to get a second rune of healing down.
I love Loki's Ult, it gives you options like no other character can
A tip for Hulk: he is very good at spamming his jump to move quickly towards enemies and away. Can also hold "jump" on wall to charge a wall jump!
You spelt nerf Spider-Man wrong
Cloak and Dagger tip- DO NOT FORGET ABOUT CLOAKS RECTANGLE ABILITY. It makes attacks significantly stonger and you can melt tanks in 3-4 seconds. Even better if you do it inside of a dagger healing bubble
magik and other anchor characters dont need teamups for their passive damage/healing/hp
10:50 i felt you were coming for my neck lmfao.
You can use your RMB to connect and right after that use your shift to grab them consistantly
My til for squirrel girl is dont always shoot your basic attack sometimes it is worth letting off the trigger so you line up a good shot
Tip for Cloak and Dagger: Cloak RMB can dodge most ults like Iron Man, Jeff, Scarlet, etc
Venom can melee, whilst using tendrils. Also use wall run, you are twice as fast.
Would love to see guides for Namor, Winter Soldier and Squirrel Girl!
You should do a video talking about how these games work. Like my wife just started playing video games and likes this game she just doesn’t know what a lot of the terminology and strategies mean. I’m also not the greatest so me explaining it to her would do a disservice.
What rocket skin is that?!
5:05
How did you get that skin with Rocket Raccoon where he's wearing the hat??
As a namor player, I understand that tip but at the same time the turrets are not permanent, if you always try to set them up in the back line with good spots you won’t be paying attention to the fight as much and they might not have the best view of the enemy. When you deploy them near you they can more easily focus who you want and in a pinch act as a distraction to divide enemy fire.
Cloak and dagger is my favorite character! 12k damage and 23k heals on payload
Nice
righht they made her kit SO FRICKEN ENJOYABLE!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH
@Coach_Mills just so you know you do not need a phylocke or black panther to get the 15% dmg buff for magik she has that by default it’s a seasonal buff
A tip for wolverine is that you can get behind the enemy tank use your leap and just kidnap them into your team
4:00 I'm pretty sure team up anchors just have their stat buffs all the time, whether the team up is active or not.
A tip for cloak and dagger by healing others you sometimes get health back
I main Scarlett Witch / Wanda… I want a video talking about her, I get SO MUCH hate for playing the “easiest hero” so… 😂
Shooting spikes at your feet with hela and using the orb just bursts and destroys flankers
the moon knight combo is actualy op it got me mvp on my first game
Could you do a Magneto guide?
Groots who don’t pay attention are so annoying as teammates. Had one who kept using the walls, and all h ended up doing is blocking the healers (including mine) line of sight and cutting off all support to the others. Got real annoying real fast…
As a healer, this is so true.
I see so many Luna snows put their heal share on a tank when we have a BP or Spider-Man in the group and I’m like what are you doing
Thor with a healer can absolutely front line
Best ult usage for scarlet witch is pairing it with Doctor strange ult
I played winton as my main tank in OW so I really wanted to enjoy hulk, but that hold to charge jump mechanic does not feel great
Star Lord's ult feels like it should be a flanking ult. Use his speed to get an off angle then start with the supports
If you played clock and dagger more than once and didn’t know you can bounce the heals i don’t know what ur looking at lol. . I played her once and figured that out 😂😂
can you do a guide on groot please
jeff its like if moira and tahm kench have a baby😂
4:00 magik ALWAYS has the 15% extra damage regardless of whether the teamup is active or not, that is because she is a teamup anchor this season, the same is for hela (20%dmg), hawkeye (20% dmg), spiderman (10% dmg), rocket raccon (5% healing), etc...
next season these heroes and numbers will change.
ps: magik is not an evasive diver, she is a high damage diver.
Magneto or Penni advanced guide
Uh that Thor point was pretty wildly off. You can put so so so much pressure on enemy front lines with your damage. The tip should be do everything you can to manage your F up time. Its damage is crazy and with it up you can kill divers crazy quickly, due to its huge projectile size, as well as pressure tanks and healers to focus on living.
Great video
Cloak and Dagger tip section!
Daggrr heals in a radius regardless, so if your teammate is in a close quartered fight, attack the enemy and your teammate will still be healed.
You can survive 3 punisher ultimates inside their ultimate that's how much healing it does
Play inside daggers heal bubble as cloak you can survive a fair amount of dps.
Hanzo is my favoeite Marvel Rivals hero
LOL hanzo and tracer guy
