Thank you for a video of NYC, NOT a MUSIC video, which so many of the other NYC sites are. Drives me nuts. I just want to see the city not go to a concert. Love the vid! Thanks again!!!
I visited NYC on 2006 and I got depressed after seeing ground zero, I could feel something terrible happened there, I'll never come back there, you still can hear people screaming and dying, I think you understand what I'm saying, lots of love from Italy
fantastic video thanks love this place, the older parts look amazing ,polite drivers Americans ,i have been in NYC but this place is now on my bucket list
A wide variety of things can be done to reduce traffic congestion. As always, the regular public transport such as trains and buses always helps. Park and ride services are good too and should be heavily promoted to remind people such services exist.
It's funny how you can hear a car horn once every few seconds. And if you look at the people crossing the streets, you'll notice each has a unique arm swing.
Good video...Love these driving formats..I'm a Brooklyn resident for 52 years...(new Yorker for life!)...But the city is just too congested for me.... Haven't been in the city In a couple of years...Yet this video brings me back to the electric ,hectic vibe that is constant... Like I always say,'if you can drive in NYC, you can drive anywhere'..Thanks for posting....Maybe In future you can venture into parts of Brooklyn....By coney island, Williamsburg,etc.... You can find every ethnic group in Brooklyn Just by driving across the borough...Historical too...Safe driving,!!!👍🚌🚐🚕🚗🚘🚦🚧🚙
Sus videos son maravillosos {Your videos are wonderful}. Con ellos estoy conociendo las ciudades de EE-UU. Ya me imagino como es NY {I imagine how is NY} Aunque nunca salga de mi pais, usted me ha enseñado a conocer su tierra. Muchas gracias y felicitaciones {Thank You and congratulacions} Una última pregunta: ¿Que cámara tiene? {Last question: ¿What camera have}
Excellent camera position and video quality (I can see why this comes up first on searches). Haven't driven there in 20 years, but felt like I was there again (btw, never had any great problems driving NYC. If you want streets full of idiots, go upstate to Albany, Syracuse, etc.)
It will! Trust me :) Been there twice, and I am already dying just to get a one second taste of New York again. But, you know what they say! If you can make it there... you can make it anywhere.
Newer apartment buildings sometimes have underground garages, older ones not so much. There's also public parking garages where you can rent a spot monthly or by the hour. Most people that live downtown don't have cars and if they do they don't drive every day (just for out of town trips, when moving something big etc) and take public transportation instead (parking is expensive and traffic makes driving slow). Lots of people drive to work from the surrounding suburbs/neighborhoods that don't have as much public transportation. You can also park on the street (if you find a spot).
There is a scene in the film Nerve, in which a motorcycle is driven blind folded at 60 mph, which was partly filmed on Park Ave, including the tunnel (aka Murray Hill Tunnel). This scene included another tunnel or underpass. Does anyone know where?
i think i'ts the most interesting place of world. My dream is to go visit NewYork city and Detroit. Americans are lucky people what a wonderful country
Beautiful! I have seen several videos like this but in other places, its amazing the organization and everything, really. I probably wont be able to visit New York City in my life, but this is nice and a good experience lol (:
By the way, J Utah, do you make this by yourself? I mean, are you the driver and the man behind this?? I have seen that you have a lot of videos but in other cities in the US, you should do something like this but at nigth! And with some music if this is possible, it can be great, trust me lol. Keep it up (: Consider this idea, i am going to suscribe for future videos. I'm very interested
it's funny when people say the wish the could visit NYC cause to me I live in at the bottom of CT no more than 45 mins away and I come all the time. The metro north trains come through every hour to bring people to Nyc or new Jersey cause were the tri state area
Jennie O it ain't all sunshine and rainbows lol. since I live close there's people who live here in CT and go work in nyc and people who live in new York and come work in CT and theres literally stop and go traffic that starts at 7:00 a.m all week mon-fri going south towards Ny and the traffic ends at like 10 and then starts back up at 2 p.m coming back to CT and the traffic starts in the bronxs which is like 30 mins from where I live in CT. so just imagine how much time is wasted in traffic lol 😑😑
tj jefferson yes. Its very crowded there. I live 25 miles south of boston. It takes me about 3.5 hours to drive to manhattan. I only visit ny once in a while but i plan to make the trip a few times a year now. NY is an amazing city!
Jennie O yeah it's nice I went yesterday. I drove but I should have took the train even tho it takes 30 mins more to get there if I would of drove which makes no sense cause there's no traffic on train tracks😂
Roman Rudometov It's a cast for her foot. You wear it when you're injured. But this fact also doesn't rule it out being a fashion statement, it matches her clothes. (:
I can't believe how long the highrises stretch! Also, since when is blue the standard colour for dress shirts? At one time most people wore white. And why doesn't anyone yield when people are trying to make a lane change? Isn't it an improper driving practice if someone ahead of you puts on the signal lights to change lanes and you just keep on going forcing them to sit there and wait?
+Neeks Clemente I don't but the argument that this is just some universal aspect of large cities. This is a specific cities thing as there are other major cities that Utah has posted drives in that are different and I've driven in some myself where people don't do that.

I'm so bored I just sat in traffic for 34 minutes at home. Man I need more to do.
The beautiful view of NYC buildings made it up for me.

Thank you! I've been fascinated by New York City since my teens and this was a cheap way to experience at least a part of it.
park ave , imo, is most beautiful in april. so many blossomin trees along the ave.

Absolutely - Lots of love from the USA as well!
Thought ground zero came out in 2011

I remember when my dad made me drive in NYC. I was just 15 and had my Learners Permit. Most stressful time of my life.
I grew up in Colorado; my Dad waited until there was ice on the road (left over from a blizzard) before teaching me how to drive.😁
Apparently, Dads make their kids do things at crazy times or crazy places.
1:00 driver took a left turn when the sign says no left turns lolol
Love the video. Even saw where I used to work, Bankers Trust Building (left-hand side), 48th to 49th Street.
nice video dude !! Park Ave its my dream. Thanks from Madrid , Spain

I love the video, and thanks for posting it; but the New Yorker in me has to point out that, contrary to the title, you're driving uptown. 🤓✌
He's heading uptown, it's the direction he's heading, not where he is...;)
Great job!

The difference of this and today is nuts
who owns those cars and where can they park them at night?? do these old apartments have basement garage or something like that??

Yes it`s bullshit how people do not let you merge, but it happens everywhere. No matter where you drive.
It's a dense urban city. What do you expect? Perfect suburban people driving perfectly in their perfect mini-Coopers?
