    thanks for another video. i really really hope 'upscale with prompt' is integrated into other products like this.

    not really a fair comparison, magnific clearly is changing the images themselves rather than just improving the quality

      I have checked their examples on their site, and yes, for example, instead of one model of shoes the Ai created another pair of shoes with better resolution, and instead of a piece of tree bark it recreated a lamp. It clearly redraws some parts of images changing their geometry.

      @@weirdwonderfulaiart What are you disagreeing with? you cannot see how it has changed a lot of things in your images?

    • @joelface
      @joelface ปีที่แล้ว

      @@English_Lessons_Pre-Int_Interm Yes, but they both do that. They're both ai-upscaling. To get non-ai upscaling, you'll never truly improve quality because it can never truly add detail that isn't already in the image. It's true that currently the best results also come from letting the ai get a bit carried away and it sometimes make the wrong guess... but that will continue to improve in time... and personally, I think you get the most use-cases out of Magnific's upscaler because it passes the eye-test sooo much better than the other. Just wish it was free. :P

    cool tech, tried it out on 100 images for a new video, good results, but $40 is too expensive with other options out there, Will hold off until the other companies start using this tech

    what would be awesome is an upscaler that identifies individual objects and lets you do a prompt for each one. like it could select the horse, then you say its a horse, then it would fix the leg problem. leonardo's refine kind of does this but you dont have any control over what it does, it just guesses whats in the photo and tries to fix it. idk how they could use the tech to do this, possibly slice the image into pieces and do a generation for each piece or something.

    • @weirdwonderfulaiart
      @weirdwonderfulaiart  ปีที่แล้ว

      That sounds like an awesome idea. Hopefully in the future there is some in painting capabilities

    • @spacekitt.n
      @spacekitt.n ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@weirdwonderfulaiart for real, kind of like an automated inpainting tool where it gives you a series of popups. you could highlight problem areas etc. stable diffusion gets really confused about large complicated scenes, especially ones with disparate themes/colors, and small details, but breaking it up into larger tiles automatically could fix it

    • @joelface
      @joelface ปีที่แล้ว

      @@spacekitt.nTotally, and wouldn't it be great if it automatically broke the image up into layers so you could regenerate just a single layer and it could overlap other elements without removing them, etc. That would be a great way to increase user control as well.

    Tried magnific on my own 3D Renders. 40£ is a lot for what you get. With interiors I'm adding small details here and there sometimes but I loose all the selection masks which can be quite crucial ( our briefs are very specific even down to cushion piping and accessories so I can't let AI go too crazy ). Tried enhancing some exteriors and feels like magnific is working better with exteriors. But atm looks like I will be cancelling subscription on AI Enhancers..

      Midjourney v6 alpha is good but not as good as Magnific. Agree 100% - early access to niche but quality upscaler is highly priced but hopefully competition will right size the price.
