I was also there on Friday, and I don't boo and abuse. I think it is pointless (as was pointed out) but having witnessed the ineptitude, the lack of heart and suffered the embarrassment (with no disrespect to Tamworth) as I walked off the terrace I couldn't blame any one o the fans who vented their spleen in that moment. This wasn't a "one off" it was yet another pitiful show, and yes things have been more encouraging recently. Teams who have aspirations to be better and look to be successful don't put in some of the lousy performances we have seen this season and this was a new low. When you consider the decline we have had to witness these past two years, longer not counting the Carlos season, I think those who dared to applaud the fans after the game on Friday might just have got off a little lightly. We have players we don't have a team at the moment. A team who had each others backs wouldn't have folded so tamely on Friday. Mr Nagle needs to look at things in the round. His first reaction was appropriate but he needs to look at the bigger picture and understand the culture we all exist in.

Burton are a decent club too, with decent fans. The goal should have been disallowed, Marshall and Headley were shite but the lasting memory for me will be Tamworth's time wasting and even worse, the pathetic referee letting them get away with it.

Ah the vicious cycle of Chris Maxwell. He's always on the bench because he's poor, and because he's poor he's always on the bench and because he's always on the bench he's always 'rusty' and never improves so wherever he goes next in league 1 or 2 he'll be on the bench with all that 'experience' (on the bench). I know we were poor and got what we deserved but he's always punched things he should catch, and his distribution is shocking. We could have nicked that if it wasn't for him and it would have saved us some embarrassment.
