Thank you. You have confirmed the understanding I have of the term Mixed media. Like you, my discovery of mixed media started in the world of scrapbooking and then eventually morphed into working on canvas, both cotton and wood using wet media like acrylic paints or melted wax and dry media like bits of torn papers or even strips of cloth. 👍
You are a great teacher! Thank you for this video! Going to watch the others you suggested. I am one of those that fear it but I’m wanting to try ! Thank you for the encouragement!
oh that's great Deborah I'm glad you like it, I'm all about experimenting and trying new things with confidence.... when you're done with those I can recommend others that might be easy to start with
Your introduction to mixed-media is very informative!. You have amazing clarity and indepth (vast), knowledge of various mediums and how to apply them. I am still learning and really very grateful that you are guiding me on my own personal journey - I am indebted to you and would be very delighted to send you one of my completed art projects as a MASSIVE THANKKYOU.
this is so great! I love surrounding myself with all kinds of art. listening to you was a nice learning experience. thanks for the entire series you are doing
I too passed the same stage. I had fear and I also spoiled my first project and the I got chance to learn from Anna Debrowska. Now I just want to make mixed media projects
We learn every day how intimate and subjective art expressions engage our inner drives with social or more outer connections. As we overcome the fear of anything, we liberate our hearts, first for me by putting tools and other's tutorials on my desk and simply begin. Next is tuning out from the distractions of the outer responsibilities for a time, and in that moment of allowing the flow state to take over analysis, criticism and judgements, I think this is the point (for me) of mixed mediation...finding multiple avenues of shaping the inner demand for understanding and community and communication thru mixed nedias...letting go the brakes on creativity and finding joy.
thank you so much for the informations you make it very clear for me as a beginner to understand what mixed media is ,you introduced it in a simple way and chose the right words to say that any beginner need to know remember...your series is for begginers (like me) and you are doing great job thank you

You look nice, Keren! Very nice job, not only explaining what mixed media is, but also helping allieviate the fear many folks feel when persuing "mixed media."

I think it’s still considered mixed media as you’re combining different mediums together
You don’t need to let others define your art. You are the only one who can define it
