- The riveting finale to this nightmare of a group project. It's one thing to feel guilty about doing minimal work BUT TO ACTUALLY NOT SAY A SINGLE WORD THE ENTIRE TIME AND NOT DO ANYTHING IS A WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY. Thanks Butch.
Here's a side note. I've only ever actually seen Butch twice in person so if I saw him in public, I wouldn't even recognize him AND HE'S LUCKY THAT'S THE CASE OTHERWISE, I have access to bats.

When I was in high school, my group experience was more or less like this (yeah, with the 3 boys and stuff). I don't know why but back then hard working and studious male students were fricking hard to find.
I just had to do a group project and we only finished it on Thursday, when it was due on Friday. People in my group actually did stuff, but we just looked at memes a lot of class time. We still got the best grades out of the whole class thought, so looking at the memes and procrastinating was worth it.

I can relate, I had to basically write a book in a week because our 10 person group had 2 people who didn't know English, 1 person who was team leader and straight up left on the third day and didn't come back to school that week, 1 who just kept watching Netflix, 2 who wrote 1 chapter together, 1 who didn't know how speech in writing works (wrote it like a drama script) and 1 who was barely there because he was too stressed out and ran away to the schools panic room for the entire project. It's a shitty book I am ashamed I worked on but my family still said I cannot be a writer and am terrible in teams because the book written in a week by one person was bad

I have problems with groups too. Every time I was in a group project I did all the work. Then I would tell the teacher and I got an A while the others in my group would fail. So I got bullied because I told the truth as usual. I always tell my teachers every time I would do the thing on my own and not work with others so it doesn't happen much anymore. So, I feel you.

Oh man I had group projects in high school... And I USUALLY ENDED UP DOING ALL OF IT! World war 2 class we had these major presentations at the end of the semester and had months in advance. I covered 2 things A Japanese camp and a German one.

I feel bad for you. Group projects are hell. Actually, I have a short storytime comment about group projects.
So in my art college, one of my classes for this winter was creative process. On the third day of class, she announced not one, but TWO projects that had to be completed in three weeks. One of which was a group project. The group project seemed like it was a big one, and I felt like I would need a partner, just to figure out how to do it. Plot twist! I end up being the only one in class without a partner. My best friend in the class ended up pairing up with someone else, and felt confident enough to not need a third partner.
I ended up leaving the class because I had personal issues with the teacher, and I'm going through other problems and realised that I had to drop one of my classes in order to get a passing grade in the rest of my classes.
So my best friend who was with another partner ended up telling me that she ended up picking one of the worst partners. Throughout the three weeks, didn't give anything to the power point presentation that had to be done, other than provide a few reference links. On the day to present, the partner was a no-show, and my friend was stuck presenting a half-finished project. When she told the teacher about her deadweight partner, the teacher blamed her for the work not being done, rather than blame the person who didn't even bother showing up.

I'm quite young so I only had a few group projects. In 3rd and 4th grade I had a biome project. In 3rd grade my teacher let my class choose their group. I having no friends was assigned a group. My entire team ended up making about 5 pages full of pictures. I ended up doing all the requirements.

Ahh shoot, group projects stink for me too. Most of the time, all my group cares about is making it look nice instead of actually getting the information down, so I ended up doing the research on top of a majority of the project (because most people also looked at memes and played games during their class time too). During my last school year, I found one friend who was pretty good to team up with and we worked together on every single project (except for this one the teachers assigned) and we would finish them like three or so days early... and got a lot of praise from the teachers usually too.

Had the same thing with presentation on a book for uni( like half of my grade for that year) with this girl Kirsty who always dodged meetings to work together and did no work so I made the presentation then she complained because she didn't like the way I'd written it when spent all night on it and tried to force me to do all her work for her (with quotes) when I had work and uni essays to write and gave me panic attacks so hard couldn't breathe because she sent me slides shed done a day before and then didn't turn up

Well since you made this vid i guess i might as well tell my grouo project from hell. So im getting ready to head to my second year at college. But this is a story from my first year. With your group you actually got to work on it. My last group project that i had to do was infuriating. Like you my professor assigned these groups and put everyone with people that we could get to know more. So i am with 3 dudes that i have never talked to at all and have no idea who the *bleep* they are. The class was a class called Academic Life. All we did in this class was talj about study tactics, time management, and a few other things that mostly sounded like the same things over and over after a certain point. I forget exactly what the project was for this but what i do remember is constantly trying to get together with the group over a group email that we set up only to be blown off and never got a responce. One day, i think it was 3 days before the *bleeping* thing was due, i sent an email to the group asking about it only to again get no answer. I ended up running into one of my group members that same day and i asked him what they needed me to do for the project only for him to tell me that THEY FINISHED THE *BLEEPING* PROJECT ALREADY!!!! I was so pissed at this. I was perfectly willing to help out since it was my grade too. I even had my slides done that i needed to do. But they never let me help in any way. So the next day or the same day i forget i either went to talk to my professor or i sent her an email, again i forget, telling her that they never let me help and i had nothing in the power point presentation they set up. She said okay just put one together yourself and send it to me and i will grade you seperately. So i envy you a bit, i am not saying those dudes arent jerks because they are (also it took my til half way through the first vid to realize you named and designed them after the rowdy ruff boys from power puff girls. #rowdyruffforlife), but at least you got to help. This is why i hate group projects and i usually just go lone wolf on things like this. If you want something done right you have to do it yourself

I remembered when I was in 8th grade, I was in a catholic school for 1 year & had to do a group project. Honestly, my group members were rude to me before the whole group project even started. They discredited me when I was the one who bought the materials they asked me to buy WITH MY OWN MONEY. I even had to go out to buy the right material for only a day after 1 of them told me 1 of it wasn’t the right material. Also, I had to buy candy which they asked for in the project. Guess what? 1 of them actually ate most of it when it was supposed to be for the project! I also had to go out to buy more candy AGAIN when I had only 1 day cuz the after school kids came into the school & ate all of it. Plus, whenever my group members told me to do a certain task, I’d do it but they’d be like “Oh you’re doing it wrong” & they’d take the materials away from me. In the end, they said “I didn’t do anything.” Bitch, I fucking bought the materials & y’all would take the tasks away from me all cuz you wanted shit your way. I was the new girl too. I wasn’t used to being in a catholic school & I may had bad grades but it doesn’t mean I don’t know how to work on group projects. St. Als (which is the school) is just a shit private school filled with spoiled rich kids. That’s my story
