I just received my new Peavey SP118 v2, yesterday. I can tell you that side by side comparison with my two PV118's....the one SP118 sounds much better! I will be selling my PV118's....
+vaya broki I tried one of them and it sounded crazy no lie but make sure you get an amp with a crossover or get an amp & a crossover separately. you will need it to make this speaker live up to its potential.
+KNOCKOUT ENTERTAINMENT - DJKO PROFESSIONAL DJ & LIGHTING SERVICES - I appreciate your reply. I bought two and have them powered by a Crown XLS402 with a BBE crossover. I just haven't used them at a gig yet...and I have a big one coming up with about 500 people (give or take)....don't know if they will be enough .
Dude Answer This What Will Happen If I Daisy Chain The Subs To The Tops? Will The Crossover In The Subs Handle All The Frequencies Below 100 And Pass On The Higher Frequencies To The Tops

even if my pole speakers have a built in amp
+Jonathan Clark if your tops are powered you are still going to need an amp for your subs. i suggest you get an amp that has a built in crossover.
thats not 400 watts rms. its 400 watts programme.
well RMS is half of the peak power rating and the program power rating is rated at half for these speakers so it's not a big difference
No! Rms is the half of the programm power rating, which is the half of the peak power.
-> 1000/2000/4000 RMS/Programm/Peak
Thanks!!
