    I just received my new Peavey SP118 v2, yesterday. I can tell you that side by side comparison with my two PV118's....the one SP118 sounds much better! I will be selling my PV118's....

    Have you tried them in a gig yet? How did they do?

    • @Knockoutentertainmentservices
      @Knockoutentertainmentservices  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +vaya broki I tried one of them and it sounded crazy no lie but make sure you get an amp with a crossover or get an amp & a crossover separately. you will need it to make this speaker live up to its potential.

      +KNOCKOUT ENTERTAINMENT - DJKO PROFESSIONAL DJ & LIGHTING SERVICES - I appreciate your reply. I bought two and have them powered by a Crown XLS402 with a BBE crossover. I just haven't used them at a gig yet...and I have a big one coming up with about 500 people (give or take)....don't know if they will be enough .

      KO it's all good..some ppl like to be politically correct..haha to those..I got U. I rock EV 15 w horn Biamps sys good to go.. Good for 200 to 400..in a banquet..all u need homie..I been playing since the 80s shit..believe me my shit still punches...
      I like passive!! All the way
      I run Qsc n Crown amps rane eq n crossover
      Bbl n sonic boom
      Still rocking 1200s..but going to upgrade learn this new mixer set up
      I like passive! Like the the well rounded sound n punch..its harder..

    even if my pole speakers have a built in amp

    • @Knockoutentertainmentservices
      @Knockoutentertainmentservices  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Jonathan Clark if your tops are powered you are still going to need an amp for your subs. i suggest you get an amp that has a built in crossover.

  • @cyrusbrown9356
    @cyrusbrown9356 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    thats not 400 watts rms. its 400 watts programme.

    • @Knockoutentertainmentservices
      @Knockoutentertainmentservices  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      well RMS is half of the peak power rating and the program power rating is rated at half for these speakers so it's not a big difference

    • @Newschoolcovers
      @Newschoolcovers 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      No! Rms is the half of the programm power rating, which is the half of the peak power.
      -> 1000/2000/4000 RMS/Programm/Peak
