Chilling videos show passenger plane in free fall from sky in Brazil

How does it fall like that? Did it pull straight up?

Not if they hit a stall. Meaning the airflow breaks away from the wing that generates the lift. All pulling up does is move a flap in the back called an elevator to guide the air but if the airflow is broken away then lift is gone
