Some of you all in the comments definitely got stuck in 2008. They did a great job and clearly the director chose to go in a different direction with their casting choices and other things. Each of them did a awesome job especially for being so young! Take that same energy and put it into being supportive. Those complainig about the race of these students really need to open their mind a bit.
She's not right for the role. She doesn't emote and she lacks the gravitas to play Elle. She's a great singer, but not suited for that role ig. The girl playing Brooke might have been better too...
The girl playing Enid should've had more facial expressions and unique body language instead she just looked like everyone else even though shes supposed to stand our from other people
Nope, she's not very good. Not because she's black, but because she doesn't have the voice to play Elle. Also, she doesn't emote at all. Also so many of them can't old a tune...😢 The choruses/background singers are always great though and the music is great of course. Feels like they needed more practice. Also give my girl some thights instead of leggings, like why? Why leggings? If she needs to be modest, give her thights instead of those god awful leggings.
girl this is a highschool production, this isnt a professional level cast or a performing arts highschool. i think we can excuse a bit of lacking here and there when theyre still young and have time to hone their skills
