I cannot wait to hear these words come out of my face, “I *NEED* to consume a bag of candy right now for a sewing project,”.

A trick to smooth the wrinkles a little more: turn your iron on high heat and iron the surface of your ironing board, then just rub your bag over the heated ironing board to “iron” it.

    Oh man!!
I have been away from my sewing machine for YEARS.
I need to refamiliarize myself with it and put my stash to use.
That vinyl stuff looks so cool. Oh the projects I can make.
Thanks for reigniting the sewing flame that has been sputtering on a pilot light. LOL

Thank you for clear simple instruction without filler. I would have appreciated seeing you use the iron on the vinyl and stitching the fabric on the zipper end as those steps are new to me. Thank you. 💜

As usual, another great video! We're going to a Willie Nelson concert at Billy Bob's (TX), soon. You're only allowed to bring in a bag (max) 5.5" x 8.5". I'm now thinking of using a mini-print of the ad poster, instead of candy wrappers. Thanks!

Just found this video! Great directions. Thank you. This is the cleverest idea!! I made my first 'practice' one with a Tater Tot bag. It's so cute. I wondered about the copyright thing if I sold them at a craft fair. Hint: Before turning the bag I blew my hair dryer into my bag for about 5 seconds to soften the vinyl which made turning it was very easy. Thanks again for the video.

Lovely idea. Especially when the one comment said something about making them from photocopies of grandkids artwork, etc. That would be so fun to have. 1 question, as I am not a "sewer" and just dabble now and then (your things often are just perfect for "dabbling". LOL) - you show sewing over and then trimming the one side on the zipper, but as you are right-side-outting the bag I can see the other end is still sticking past the bag edge. Do you do anything with that side? I'm unclear on that part. Thanks so much, love your videos.
