My mom had that Avon jar in 1971 & my sister wanted it when my mama passed, mama kept her Bobbie pins in it, she always pinned curled her hair, thanks for the memory❤
I don’t mind the shorter videos, if that makes it easier for you. I’m vicariously thrift shopping through your videos! I’m not near any good thrift stores so watching your content really educates me on what something is worth. I learn about items I’ve never heard of before and I play a game with mom on what her and I would’ve picked up.
FYI. Its always best to pickup baskets at the botton not the handle. I learned the hard way. I Broke a beautiful Capodimonte basket picking it up by the handle. The handle broke and it fell to the floor and shattered. Broke my heart too. My mother had given it to me.
My fav is the small crystal dish and the cobalt glasses. The piece you thought was Hersey was pretty but I'm not sure if any of their pieces were painted. You can find the H on the bottom.
Social media has caused everyone to have shorter attention spans so shorter videos are always appropriate IMHO. (Saves storage space for you too) 😉❤️ 9:25 the basket of oranges is sweet & no you don’t have to fill the cart 😊
My local Goodwill prices a lot of DT items at $6.99! I will let the store manager know that they come from dollar tree, but they never adjust the price. It’s ridiculous. I don’t think I’ve seen anything priced for less than $4.99 in over 4 years.
I like the short videos, when you have one each day I think that works better, as I struggle to find the time to watch , so keep it up I say 🧡🤗🌸🌼🌸Maria
Just wondering if I'm missing something. I've only sold on Ebay, but all on line platforms have some kind of similar fee structure. Once you add in gas and travel to source things, plus shipping materials, I don't see how you make money listing things for under $30.00.
You could have a lot of artsy fartsy fun decorating those parasols for the book ends. You could dip them in weak tea and dry to age them, bedazzle with seed pearls and tiny rhinestones from broken jewelry and border the edges with tiny lace or ribbons from old baby clothes. ✌
You sure are getting a lot of scammer profiles commenting on your videos, Jocelyn. You can tell they’re scammers because their profile pic is of a woman in a bathing suit top or bra & when you click on their profile picture, it brings you to a risqué chat room. They also always make the same comment over & over again & use the same profile pic but with a different username. Anyway, I’m sure you are aware of them, I just wanted to bring it to your attention in case you weren’t. 😊

My mom & Aunt each used the Avon jar for Bobby pins! I recognized it immediately!
@@carolhamilton6126 that’s so cool that we have that in common I Regonized it right away as well😀
My mom pin curled her hair n she taught me how n I use to roll her curls. Thank you for the memories
My mom also pinned curled!
Thought I would share. If a dish has a candle in it, if you put it in the freezer upside down for a little bit the candle will fall out.

Anytime you want to remove candle wax from a container put it in the freezer and you can remove wax in chunks
Score with the ceramic basket of oranges 🍊 & the colbalt blue glasses.
Juliet is right in the pronouncing of the name Gayle. Bravo Juliet!
My middle name is Gayle.

Our goodwill doesn't do baggies, if it is a paperclip they will price it.
Love your videos, even if they are short. They are always informative. I know when you return from vacation all rejuvenated, we’ll get longer videos.
I absolutely love the bracelet you're wearing today! Obviously sterling, beautiful stones! 🥰
I love that ceramic basket/bowl with the oranges. Where do you have that listed?
Some old Avon things are really nice!
When donating it would be good if people tape the lid to the items, as most are separated when they are placed on the shelves.
Many of the donations may originate from the lid being broken and thrown out. There is no lid left to tape onto the base.
OMG that orange fruit basket!! Ugh. So great!! 🎉
Bohemian Crystal is lovely
Those were shrimp cocktail serving glasses missing the insert for the shimp and sauce.... not brandy snifters.
I have 3 of the Avon jars on my dresser tray with my perfume. They are so pretty!
You walked passed the large blue dragon in the glass section. Sometimes those things are worth some money.
Love the bracelet you have on
The bracelet you are wearing is really pretty . Who makes it?
The blue glasses are so pretty! Thanks for sharing!
The dragon cup should have a cobalt blue glass insert.
Love that basket of oranges!

The flowered piece with the lid was probably Polish pottery. Pretty piece.
Love the basket of oranges 😊😊
A couple cute items!
The Rae Dunn mugs are appealing but too expensive. Good call.
I love it.. a cocktail umbrella. Great idea
Thank you for editing and posting while you are on your holiday 😊😊😊. Some cool finds today , loved the pottery mug with trees.

Thanks for posting, even though you are on vacation.
I agree you don't need to fill the cart every time you shop! "Quality over quantity;" although certainly quality AND quantity is ideal! 😂
You might have to have Rae Dunn sale lol 😅
I think it was Gayle versus Jayle.
It is and it's pronounced like Gail or Gale.
I think you missed the other little cut crystal dish. It was inside another bowl on the middle of the shelf.
I thought so too.
Don’t worry, short videos are always better than no videos..😉👌🏻
There is so many things from dollar tree stores and they mark them for 3 dollars or more. I’m glad I visit DT😂😂😂

Thank you for another enjoyable video!
The Oriental Book Ends....I bet the figurines and rickshaws are Celluloid!
I like your bracelet!

Thanks for the video. I liked the cobalt glasses. 😊
The book ends look like they’d be celluloid 😊
Jocelyn's intuition leads her right most of the time. She will discover what a treasure she found!
Like your bracelet…

I had one gifted to me for High school graduation . I am pushing 80yo. Had body powder in 🎉 550TX
Love your Bracelet.😊
Your daughter is right!
Love from uk Ann 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️
You missed the fantasy giant key at the beginning . Of the video, they can be worth some money
Nice finds today
Why are bookends priced separately. You wouldn’t buy just one bookend.
You could have a lot of artsy fartsy fun decorating those parasols for the book ends. You could dip them in weak tea and dry to age them, bedazzle with seed pearls and tiny rhinestones from broken jewelry and border the edges with tiny lace or ribbons from old baby clothes. ✌
I don't see the value on the bookends if they're broken and plastic?
Hello and happy to see new video
Love your videos
Hello from Mexico 👋
Thanks
Gayle
I made it home with a cute cased vase, white inside and a yellow outside-no markings. Avon
Girl, where are your eye glasses?
It the giant Kingdom Heart key?!?!!!!
