I've read that the Volume knob is not a "0 to 10" control. It sets the input level from -12dB to 0dB. Really appreciate your channel PianoManChuck - for many years - thank you. 👍

I agree with your opinions. The EiIkon seems to have a fuller sound.

Since I'm still shopping around, I saw this video, and it was very helpful in choosing what not to buy, unless, for example when you said you liked both, I agreed with you. They both sounded good, and I know why. Because the iLoud has a "Mid Range" that projects better than the Eikon because the Eikon is trying to project more bass than Mid Range. Both has good Highs but neither has the full range. My honest 2023 opinion. I liked both, so my question is, if you have the time to answer is this: Is there a way to hook up all four and get sound out of all of them at the same time, so as to get all the ranges? Thanks, Terry

If you really wanted to do that, you'd need 2 Galaxy Audio JIB/S boxes (one for the left channel, the other for the right) and six 1/4" TS (or TRS) cables.
You can get those boxes at: amzn.to/3AonQ0a
Connect the left output from your source (keyboard?) to the input of one of those boxes. Connect the right output from your source (keyboard?) to the input of the other box.
Now, use 2 of the 4 outputs from the left box to connect cables from that box to each speaker (one to Eikon, the other to iLoud, or whatever monitors you're using). Do the same thing with the right box to connect to the right speakers (Eikon and iLoud, or whatever you're using).
If you do this, definitely let us know of your results!!

@@PianoManChuck That's all nice, but I have another question: I completely forgot that I own a 4 channel Mixer. by Mackie I think, and was wondering if I could use that instead of buying another box? Thanks again for your input. Terry

@@studioopinions5870 Mixers take any number of inputs and mix them down to two outputs (left and right) - so you're back to square one trying to hook up four speakers with only two outputs. What you want to accomplish is the opposite of a mixer - two inputs (left and right) to multiple outputs.

@@PianoManChuck Oh That Makes sense, I don't know why I thought the mixer had more outputs than inputs. lol. What was I thinking. lol I guess I was grasping at straws or reaching for a simple cheap way to do the hook up. But as you said, get the boxes. Thanks. Terry

Many iLoud MTM users are quite satisfied without an external subwoofer (the MTM's actually go down to 40 Hz). But being the smaller sized woofers that they are they're not going to move as much air as a dedicated subwoofer, so for those wanting that extra oomph there's nothing wrong with adding a powered subwoofer.
