It's interesting to watch Jim's response to Regis' story about the kid who got stepped on by Big Bird. He's listening, contemplating, but never gives an immediate, over the top reaction. He just sits there and hears what happens, grins in amusement, and then makes the calm comment of "Oh dear. We could've done emotional damage for life there." Anyone else, they would've made a huge deal out of that incident and dragged on about it; but not Jim. Shame we can't have more of that nowadays.
Sad the year Jim Henson died 1990. Jim Henson aka Ernie Kermit rowlf Dr teeth swedish chef guy smiley 1936 to 1990. And rest in peace Regis philbin 1931 to 2020
Sadly, he never really was "on deaths door" until the very end. He had no long term illnesses and sadly it was just pneumonia that could have been treated that got him in the end.
@@aerinmellir1183 He died shortly after this is what I was saying. I don't know what elements he ran into that took him down so rapidly. If he thought he just had a cold then I could see why he would try to just fight through it. After certain symptoms aren't going away, you just gotta go to the doctor.
