I started playing sf6 this year with no prior fighting game experience and your videos have been very helpful and motivating to me, your calm attitude gives the videos a very educative feeling and make me feel that if I really go past the struggle and recognize my mistakes and correct my attitude, I can be as good of a player as you and the other big names. Thank you I appreciate the feedback! My goal is that the recaps will also help other players think about their play too. It really helps and calling yourself on your habits will make you more mindful of the way you play
29:05 I've been thinking about this and using wake-up super in certain situations. It's good for the reasons you described, but the drawback is that depending on the timing, your SA screen freeze may eat their intended input and they'll get to just block/parry, while EX DP would have hit the button or throw they were going to attempt...
I’m a high diamond cammy who’s also picking up ryu to learn leverless this video is like a godsend for my notes and the recap? This is so helpful to watch as someone who’s trying to learn how to learn from replays
I haven’t played sf6 since the first month. Maimed ryu in this and v. Played so much of 4 and finally in a position to play again. Thanks for all the helpful info.
The character is definitely another step forward to being fully realized in this game. I think his denjin charge system needs a revisit, but as far as his base kit goes. He's damn near perfect. The only thing I'd want changed is his low forward to be slightly faster (currently at 8 of start up frames, honestly should be 7) considering that Luke and Ken's move them forward. It'd be a good consolation for Ryu to be faster. Especially since he'd be able to combo it reliably from DR st.HP.
I've thought about this too. I think they might've 'off-set' Ryu's tools since he does huge damage from a Drive Rush so they slowed down his crMK. But then you have a character like Luke lol
@hakobo2744 It was around 55-45 before buffs is that true? I know Guile still wins fireball wars but he is meant to be Long Range so that doesn't feel out of bounds. Will admit there's more Ryus than Guiles so maybe it's just MU knowledge.

@@juggbot4572 Ken's crouching MK is 7F too. Crazy they gave him that in addition to all his other powerful tools IMO.
