@@Machuw I’d make my kids watch Iron Fist and Defenders just so that they understand the struggle that we went through to to get 4 seasons of perfection
I'm hopeful, but I'm unsure if taking Kingpin to be comic accurate is a good move. I could accept Vincent as he was in the Netflix show but buffed up to be shown as strong as comic Fisk. It would be weird seeing the cast in a reboot of the show; but like you said it could be great and with the same cast they've got a headstart on having the lightning in a bottle that Netflix caught.
Yeah, cause Kingpin was already perfect, so I don't want them messing him up. But at the same time, it could be a nice, fresh and welcoming take. So we'll just have to see I guess haha
The fact that they said Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin would be bigger is just,,, so funny to me. I'm just imagining Kevin Feige watching him perform as Kingpin, looking at this absolute unit, and going "Hmmm, this is good, but he's just not swole enough." Which means that either A) they'll make Vincent D'Onofrio bigger and it'll look really good, therefore making him more intimidating or B) they'll make Vincent D'Onofrio bigger and it'll look really bad, therefore making it more hilarious. Either way, I'll have a great time. I too have mixed feelings on a PG-13 Daredevil. On one hand, my favorite Daredevil run is Mark Waid's, and I can easily see that run being converted to PG-13 (or TV-14, however that works). But considering that they'll be using (or at least they better be using) Charlie Cox's DD, I'm not so sure about that. Like, is it just me, or does Marvel really not take advantage of its PG-13 rating as much anymore? Because if you watch the first Iron Man, there's a sex scene (well, a PG-13 sex scene, but there's nothing like that later in the MCU), language, dark themes, etc. And look at what movies like X-Men: Days of Future Past are able to do with a PG-13 rating! I feel like something like that could work well with DD, but not really with what the MCU currently feels comfortable deeming PG-13. I guess I'm really excited, but I'm also really trying to reign in that excitement so I don't get disappointed.
HAHA yeah... I... don't really know how to feel about making VIncent D'onfrio's Kingpin "swoler", like you said he's already a pretty big and intimidating guy, but it's realistic. And they'll either make him look more intimidating or he'll be so big that it'll be kinda comical lmao. But omg you just brought up a major point that I wanted to talk about for a while and that the PG-13 Marvel movies don't really feel too PG-13. Like it's sort of in the middle of PG and PG-13, instead of really pushing the boundaries. Even FATWS pushed it pretty far, but that's really the only modern example tbh. You're right, Iron Man and Day of Future Past feel a lot more dark and mature, especially for PG-13, but a lot of the recent marvel stuff doesn't have that vibe anymore. I'm just hoping they don't group Daredevil into that kind of tone because there's a lot of mature stuff like religion, sex, violence, and more. And really, PG-13 should be able to accommodate that, but Marvel doesn't seem comfortable diving deep into that stuff :/
yooo! If you don't mind me asking, how do you get the high-quality DD footage for these videos? I want to make a video edit, but I'm not sure how to download the footage from Netflix.
I either find some nice HD videos on youtube where I just download them using this 4k video downloader :D www.4kdownload.com/products/videodownloader/6 The other way is to get this thing called OBS, which can allow you to screen record and then you just go to Netflix and do that aha. Anyway, good luck with your video edit!!! :D
For being honest, i love this show with all of my heart (and the characters) but that "soft reboot" is a BIG no. The only way that it could work is if they just didn't talked about the hand and the defenders, if that is the "soft reboot" then it's completly fine, but if they shit on the character arcs and they feel different, then i gotta say, it will be the most frustating project of the entire MCU. I hope Kevin brings back the same writters.
Yeah, it really just depends on how much they change. Cause like you said, if all they do is not reference past events then it's whatever. But if they end up fundamentally changing the characters, then... no I'm good haha. It all depends on how they're written, but I worry that the old writers have moved on to new jobs ):
@@Machuw Exactly! The only continuation i really hope they make are Matt's mother being around and bring back Bullseye. The Hand stuff, Elektra can go way, since they already closed that plot. Oh, about Echo, it could be really interesting but... I want Matt with Karen!
I'm assuming it's the same one's, but they just won't reference their past. That or they'll be from another universe where things played out slightly different, like maybe their universe had a "bigger" kingpin or something.
@@FooDoesFilm Yeah ! I mean, either way I think some viewers will be a bit confused or dissatisifed so I don't really think there's a correct way to do it, but I just hope they don't end up ruining whatever's been established already
I’d watch Iron Fist season 1-2 every day of my life for only one episode of season 4 of Daredevil
LMAO. Us Daredevil fans are really down bad 😔cause I'd do the same ._.

I just hope they bring back the same writers.
Yoooo same. As long as the writing level stays the same, then I won't mind. That's a huge part as to why the show works so one can hopee
Very interesting stuff
For sure :D am very excited for this potentially real leak hah

I my mind nothing wrong with the soft reboot because the original will always be there. I just want more Daredevil !!
I agree. Even if the Disney+ is not so good, at least we still have the Netflix one haha. But anything for new Daredevil content !!
Wait what

So basically it's the same versions as the ones we saw on the Netflix show? Not different Daredevil completely? Same version just in the MCU?
