Very well covered and a great overview of the modding scene and the tool, so big thanks for bringing this to the TH-cam audience :) As far as I know this is the first and only video on the interwebs about the topic. Thanks for the shoutouts too, much appreciated! If anyone has any questions I'm happy to answer them! Two things off the top of my head that have been asked: Q: Does this work on the latest firmware? A: All mods work fine with the latest FW (v246) and it's designed to work with any future firmware too (although no guarantees, check the project docs for details) Q: How do I remove the mods? A: Just install whatever official firmware you want (the latest official firmware is usually the best choice). This will revert back to stock features. Stay inspired, stay curious, and push the boundaries!

The number of people that ask me about why my OP-1 tape is at the top... I direct them all here. I'm going to have to do a short video simply saying GO WATCH BLEZZ BEATS VIDEO DAMNIT.
With the usb audio you can seamlessly record into any daw or even just koala sampler and just work the midi from said daws sequencer and then record the product into an audio track bam you got full mobility especially if you got the iPhone to usb “camera accessory” tbh op1 with koala is the simplest most effective way I can make beats and the product is always top notch you can use koala as a temporary daw and seamlessly move everything over to any real daw, (ableton especially) (iOS especially due to airdrop features)
@@BlezzBeats Yes that is correct. There were efforts to actually disassemble the code and modify it but that hasn't been successful (yet). Even if we got that far an undo functionality would be a huge undertaking to make happen unless the FW was made open source by TE. So don't hold your breath on that one :D
Yooo figured it out Maschine+ with OP-1 you gotta play it out of the op-1 causes slight degradation but worth it 0 latency and the sampling is on point just the external speaker routing takes a 5% hit on tegridy maybe not even
install the python but I get lost when you talk about the last firmawere which was the 242 I do not understand well how to pack and unpack the firmawere with the systema or python symbol I saw your comment that it also works in the new firmawere which is the 243 but How do I create the file in system symbol or python, can you help me please or send the signature file, we're already done the one you use, good man, thank you very much.

Have you been able to make op-1 play nice with maschine plus with the new update? trying to be able to route audio in but still play sound out of the maschine
Haven't tried the new update cause I haven't seen a use for it and prefer the pro's of these mods, will let someone else guineapig before trying the new fw with op1repacker 😅

yoo I didn't know ITER had that synth engine graphic, I only knew it from your earlier video with the little spinning knobs. Have you made anything you like with it?
ITER has some potential but it's a bit goofy to work with. I'm not surprised that the engine was never officially released, it's not on the same level as some other engines. As for the graphics, that's my design. Anyway the repacker has community presets for ITER which are worth checking out if you're curious.
Hello good man I tested the new firmware 243 but the script to control ableton live stopped working, you know if you have to update the script to be able to use the signaturewere 243 I am going to try to use the signaturewere of this video or do you recommend that you have used it
@@joserojasruiz I have no idea m'hermano, I never used the Ableton Live script so I can't tell if it's the new update overall or the modded one but my wild guess is it's just 243 over all.
Do you always upgrade to the latest op-1 firmware? Can you use the op-1 as a audio interface to run your external gear from the audio in of the op-1 directly to your computer?

@@BlezzBeats Yes life's a bith man. Had to sell mine the very first and got another 3 years ago from the latest batch. They are ok man. Portable. But whatever you play, when you just make music and it makes you happy it's fine dude!

I don't think so unfortunately 😞 What's possible so far is very surface-level

I tried installing the OP-1 python pack but I selected the wrong target folder. Now every key on the OP-1 just plays "You've got mail!" and "Welcome!"
Typical! Happened to me too once. The coolest mistarget is when you target the shooting folder and it shoots like every gun there is from each key

Nah its kinda shitty tbh! Made 1 or 2 decent sounds 😂

This is the regular command prompt of Windows, (hold windows button + R, write cmd) but you can use any command prompt

Yes all you need to do is upload an original firmware again. Or not select any graphic mods however you want it.

For the love of god can someone hack it so we can sample directly to a key, mpc style 😇
You can! When sampling you can hold down a key and it will record to that key.
