Super stoked. I just got to Yangshuo. I found out about Yangshuo and Omeida because of you... and I asked them about you today. I know your stuck in the states at the moment, but just wanted to say thanks for the recommendation. I am excited to start this new journey and add to the life experiences. First time in 2 years that I feel I am living the dream traveling and studying. I hope you're enjoying your time back with the family. Stay safe mane!
Yes!! This is exactly why I like creating content, so I can read comments like these. Wish you the best in your journey man, thanks for watching and commenting
Damn it Kevin, since I've been recommended one of your videos from TH-cam, I'm definitely willing to go to Yangshuo ! Even though Japan is my ultimate place to go, after watching your videos I really got into this specific place and actually trying to learn at least a bit of Chinese one day. Congratulations for the work and effort you put into these videos !
I lived there for a year (2009) and loved every day! I went to secret beach a lot, hiked the TV tower once a week, and taught English at Omeida. The Food was amazing, the landscape was surreal, and the rock climbing was some of the best in the world! I still miss Yangshuo so much!
Oh my Gawd! Such a beautiful place. As a US citizen, one usually thinks only of Shanghai or Beijing, thank you for enlighting us of Yangshuo and all it has to offer. Looking good, btw Kevin!
Nice video, as a Chinese I did not know such places existed before watching this. Sounds just like the stuff that I did when I traveled to Mexico or South America, although more foreigner-focused, but sure looks like fun. 👍🏼
I’m going to Yangshuo very soon and I think this video it’s really well made and you are really an enthusiastic person. It was nice to watch this video, I’ll definitely start to follow you 😎
Hey Kevin, dogging your intro tune, looks like you found another diamond mine for music 🎶. Been traveling Eastern Europe for 4 months. About to return to Australia. But hoping to travel to south east Asia in December. Hopefully can hang out one of these days bud.
Nice Video!!!! I really love Yangshuo. 2020 I ve been there the first time. Since then almost every two month once to yangshuo. Love that place. Are you living in Yanghsuo? Gonna be there in two days
Hei man, great video! 2 questions Is it easy to go around with English? What's the best way to arrive there? From here (Milan), the cheapest flights usually land in Beijing or Shanghai. Thanks bro! Cheers
@@Monkeyabroad perfect, thanks. So I guess the best way is to rent a car and then rent a scooter directly there :)) I just have to make the international driving license damn...^^ Such a beautiful place!
Monkey Abroad is strong at communication and very positive. He can make a lot of money through different avenues in China. Maybe he's doing more effective things with his time! I'm sure his girlfriend would like that too
@@alexandershorey9014 Yes, I'm sure he is as he mentioned. I guess I should just have worded it a different way but thats what I have noticed. But my main point is he is not posting much now. I subscribed and watched from the beginning and l really liked what he posted. I just want more. Lol.
@@Tina-pm6wl Umm.. it is true. If you go back to see how much he posted and to now.. not much. If you guys are learning to rock climb I would love to see. Get him to post more videos.. doesn't matter what they're about 😊
Thanks for the great video! Planning my trip there for the beginning op November. I live in Chongqing. Do you have any recommendations for a company to book the Li River Cruise from?
What an incredible offer of cool activities! If I were there, I wouldn't miss the Pu Bu Tang Waterfall, the tea farm and the view from Husband mountain! For how long you will stay in Yangshuo?
The best thing in Yangshuo is the Secret Beach. I hope they keep it a semi secret. Dont build hotels and restaurants there. It should be crime to mention the secret beach on a vlog. I guess its so ruined now. Tourist need not go to this beach given there are Thousands of things to see in Yangshuo. No needs to be too pretentious to seek out the non touristic spaces so they ruin it for a Instagram post.
Amazing man. To be honest, as a Chinese, it's my first time to relize that our country is so beautiful through a foreigner's perspective.lol
Thank you!
This is so exciting! I'm going to Omeida in April for 4 months can't wait!!
This definitely makes me wanna start studying Chinese and explore the country ✨✨🥰💪💪
Is hard man. But digital pocket translator is cheep. They even make one that talks
The most complete multiple event China video. Thank you so much.
I’ve been teaching in China for the past 6 months and have been wondering where to take my next vacation. I’m definitely going to Yangshuo next 😍😍
You won’t regret it man :)

I'm a bit too old for the rock climbing adventures but did go to West Street, although very touristy, was a good place to eat and walk.
Wow, the drone view is awesome!

Will do my best. Thanks for watching
You should post a list in the description with all of the places
Question: Is TV Tower a bunch of stairs all the way up?
Thanks so much! We will be there next week! How's the weather right now?
The weather is still perfect right now. Probably still have a month left of fall
加油 好看!!
:) thanks 皮儿
I am going once covid is over, but my biggest concern is meeting people... if I stay there for a year how will I meet new friends?
Hey dude ....I miss my 2nd homtown
Me too :(
It is a good place even compares to the whole Country .So luck you can work and live there.
Great video! Please appreciate the effort required to compile this guide. Can we order mandarin lesson books from you?
Well I don’t have any sort of affiliate partnership set up, but if I did, I’d have links to the Boya Chinese series!
Hey, why you chose to live in Yangshuo instead of some tier 1 cities in China?
I was adopted and this is where I came from ;0; i hope one day i can go and see my amazing area and get the feel of being who I am
Hei man, great video! 2 questions
Is it easy to go around with English?
What's the best way to arrive there? From here (Milan), the cheapest flights usually land in Beijing or Shanghai.
Thanks bro! Cheers
Yeah you’ve gotta transfer from a hub like Beijing or Shanghai first, then you can arrive in Guilin. After that it’s 1.5hr drive south to Yangshuo
@@Monkeyabroad perfect, thanks. So I guess the best way is to rent a car and then rent a scooter directly there :)) I just have to make the international driving license damn...^^
Such a beautiful place!
No need to get a license. Can buy a scooter for 80USD and drive wherever, hardly any police presence
Hey Kevin! I plan to go to Omeida, but I was wondering how far is the Kungfu/Taichi school to Omeida? Do they have a website? love the video!
The taichi school is about a 15-minute bicycle ride, or a 5 minute scooter ride away.
@@Monkeyabroad thank you so much!!!!

Great video. Quick question, what Visa would you recommend?
Thanks, I recommend a tourist (L) visa for anyone visiting who’s not planning to find employment
Man, that climbing looks so dangerous besides exciting though, was there really no one getting involved in an accident?
No, it’s super safe (especially if you wear a helmet, which it seems no one in this video was doing :/ )
When will u travel abroad again? I mean outside China 😁
Great list! No wonder you neglect your duty of...
uploading new videos!
With a place like Yangshuo, who wants to spend all summer in front of a computer editing :p
What an incredible offer of cool activities! If I were there, I wouldn't miss the Pu Bu Tang Waterfall, the tea farm and the view from Husband mountain!

I’ll likely be in Yangshuo until winter

One of the best, for sure
I want to go cliiiiimbing
Who are those 4 guys disliked the video? Honkongese? lol
Your list should have Chinese ez girls
Holy shit all the scenery looks incredible, but lets be honest, the real reason he went to china was all the girls you can see in the video :P
