I was wondering what you’ve been doing since using Chébé. Thank you for giving us more feedback. I have a question...do you have low porosity hair or know someone who uses Chébé on their low porosity hair? I’ve been trying to get feedback on how it’s working for women with the same type of porosity I have since low porosity hair can have issues with protein even though when speaking to Ms. Sahel and Belle Bar Organics this product doesn’t have protein product per se. I plan on starting my Chébé journey very soon...in my case I’m a stay-at-home mom and keeping it in my hair is no big deal since I mainly always covered up. Thank you for any feedback you can give me.

Hi👋🏾 😁I have extreme low porosity hair as well. Ive noticed that the more powder I use, the more dry it becomes. So, I first apply a spray that I've made, then apply Shea butter, and then - we bought a Chébé and Karkar oil mix from Chébé USA on Amazon - we use that. I will stop using it after I've gotten the length that I've wanted, because I like my puffy afro.

Nini Okala thank you so much for your feedback. I have an Aloe Water I use all the time to moisturize my hair but I’m trying to figure out the leave-in part. I’ve been using WEN by Chaz Dean for years and think I’ll use that with almond or some type of light oil since Ms. Sahel states to do a mixture of leave-in with oil a just a bit of the powder. I haven’t started using the Chébé yet due to doing a allergic test and now a hair test. I’d purchase the oil you mentioned (which I was looking to get that anyway) but it would be a long time with delivery because of Amazon not considering it essential. Stay safe and thank you again.

For the Sudanese natives they don’t wash it out . For people Maintaining their hair the “westernized” way(washing every now and then, etc.) ; their hair has length but looks thin and/or lifeless. Interesting but just not exactly worth it; I’ve seen better results yielded by other means. Not criticizing you ! because it may be important for you to implement and inform others of alternatives that are closer to our cultural roots. Thank you for the dedication and sharing your results beautiful !

Some people just have thin hair and other people have vitamin deficiencies that are causing the thinning. Maybe they are protein deficient.

Is it possible to still retain the length achieved from using chebe for a particular amount of time and then stopping? I plan to use Chebe but not for too long, I would like to reach tail bone or waist length...

You will always retain length regardless of what you use to grow it as long as you don't cut or allow your hair to get damaged or broken.

A youtuber @evehogan i guess? she uses it on her scalp and she said she did not have any negative effects.
