I love hair masks. My hair always comes out so soft afterwards. Your hair is so nice and thick. Wow six hours? That’s a long time. Overnight then. That’s doable.
It doesn't necessarily have to stay in that long. Sometimes I leave it in for just 15 minutes and then lightly rinse it out.

Thank you 💕 I use it every time I wash my my hair..which is mostly bi-weekly.
The point of the treatment is to keep the hair braided for years to preserve all your growth by extreme protective styling. It is not a conditioner
Chebe remains in your hair and keeps the strands strengthened, conditioned and moisturised (whether braided or not, even a lose bun is a protective style) - as long as you re-apply appropriately.

Love your videos! I tried chebe once (without the jet cream/conditioner, just with oils) and it was such a struggle to wash off. Does this method rinse off easily?

So basically, rinsing out my hair after applying my mix is just a formality, because most of the mix still stays in (even though you might not see it in the video). That's what makes this method really effective because it allows the chebe stay in your hair longer. In a nutshell, rinsing out thoroughly is not necessary (except it's wash day and you're actually washing it out, which has never really been a problem for me) Hope this long explanation makes sense lol. x

After you stopped using chebe, how was your hair? Did it get split ends and break or is it still striving and growing?
Good question
Never stopped using chebe but whilst I took a break from it my hair remained strengthened and healthy because I keep it hydrated.

The women of Chad apply the chebe at least twice a week and don’t wash it out, this is my first time hearing that it needs to be washed out after 6 hours
It doesn’t need to be washed out, if you want to leave it in then that’s up to you. This is just one of the many methods that works for me.
Also, 6 hours is what's recommended but I usually rinse out way before then and it's equally as effective👌🏽

How often do you apply the chebe
Weekly. I mix it with my leave-in conditioner and then re-apply before my next wash.
