Of the recommendations I received, I recently read The Prison Healer by Lynnette Noni (trilogy), Navigating the Stars (trilogy) by Maria V Snyder, and I just started Paladin’s Grace by T Kingfisher (very strong start). If you like this genre - I’d love your recommendations too please!
I'm also very into those genres. I'm just entering adulthood so I'm at the bridge for YA and adult books rn. Sarah J Maas books are fantasy and I've loved them all, despite the spicy parts that don't interest me as much. Marie Lu is also very good and has some different genres. I'm finishing up the And I Darken trilogy by Kiersten White which I like but I'm also struggling to get through. I'm reading the Air Awakens series after by Elise Kova which I'm hoping will be good, I have high hopes :)

These are great. Also, I can't really tell a difference in the aura nail vs unmagnetized? Maybe it's a camera angle thing, the cat eye magnet was much more obvious.

I don’t own any magnetized polish, but this makes me wanna go out and buy one STAT! I adore both styles of magnetizing! When it comes to the cat eye magnetizing, I like it when the base maintains some color other than just turning black. When you got to the reds, I was like 😱😍, and they literally just kept getting better and better! Finally, when you magnetized Amulet, my mind was blown 🤯 that jelly base with the cat eye concentration was SO COOL!
Oh my gosh you totally need to try magnetics! They're SO FUN and the cool thing about them is that they don't ever "expire", so they stay magnetic forever (unlike thermals which eventually stop changing color haha) so it's like built in nail art whenever you want!

💕😂😞😤 Hearts are a classic touch, laughing emoji of course, sad emoji for serious or bummer moods, and the last one can not say what it is but I take it as determination or pride or extreme emotion, usually with a heart emoji. Also, the laughing sweat drop reminds me of using ^^; all the time, I still use that occasionally.

About the polishes.. I am OBSESSED with obsidian and blood moon. I probably won't buy the collection as a whole, that is a lot of money for me, but I will definitely pick up a few from the collection because these are gorgeous and so captivating even without magnetizing them.
I love the comparison you did with both types of magnetization. I really like the contrast of Amulet and would love to see how you would use it as a topper. Would you do a magnetic toper swatch video like how you described using Amulet?
Totally fair! Some brands do have a deeper version of the magnetic pigment as the base - KBShimmer comes to mind with that recent green magnetic for the holidays!

Oh my god YES I saw them on insta and my heart stopped. I got the planets and when I saw this, it felt like the expansion pack I desperately needed. Also I do think all of them are very different, a lot of people thought they were the same but, maybe it’s because I’m already a nail polish addict 😅

LOVED that you showed both styles of magnetization! But honestly not even that can convince me that this collection needed four different red polishes. I'm glad other people liked it since it sounds like it's sold out already, but there is such a glut of red magnetic polishes out of indie brands right now.
I always want to cry when Starrily does collections like this, I want them so badly, but Starrily does not ship to Austria. And the website where I order most Indie polishes from does not get the boxes, not even all the plishes 😭😭But I still love watching your videos of them ❤

These polishes are absolutely gorgeous! I’m a sucker for a beautiful multichrome nail polish! Thanks for showing the aura method with the magnetic polishes, Kelli. Usually only the cat’s eye method is shown, and personally I prefer the effects of the aura style. I think my favorite is Rose Water, since I don’t have a polish that shifts between red and pink. But they’re all really pretty.
Gorgeous shades. I'm definitely gonna pick up some of them. The green and blue and a couple of the reds. They are all stunning. I just never wear the really dark ones. Well, I checked the Starrily website, and they’re out of stock on the Rose Water. I saw a Starrily nail polish on eBay for sale that looked similar, called Dragon, and pictures on the internet showed it as red with copper, gold and pink shifts. It’s not magnetic, but still looks quite pretty. I went ahead and ordered it, figuring it’s a start to my Starrily collection. Hopefully, they’ll get Rose Water back in stock.

These polishes are absolutely gorgeous! I’m a sucker for a beautiful multichrome nail polish! Thanks for showing the aura method with the magnetic polishes, Kelli. Usually only the cat’s eye method is shown, and personally I prefer the effects of the aura style. I think my favorite is Rose Water, since I don’t have a polish that shifts between red and pink. But they’re all really pretty.

I don’t have any Starrily polishes yet, but Amulet will be my first I think! The contrast with the magnetized color and the background was so intense!

Gorgeous shades. I'm definitely gonna pick up some of them. The green and blue and a couple of the reds. They are all stunning. I just never wear the really dark ones. I have darks now that I love how they look, but I don't wear them. So I won't get them all, but I am getting a few. Thanks for the discount code.

Hello, Kelli!! Excellent swatches, as always. How similar is Rose Water by Starrliy to Love Spell by Holo Taco? I had gotten an email about the collection but I wasn't overly impressed. Seeing your review I really love Hera and Rose Water. I'll have to keep checking the website for a restock as all individual colors and the set are sold out. Go, Starrliy!! 😊

Well, I checked the Starrily website, and they’re out of stock on the Rose Water. I saw a Starrily nail polish on eBay for sale that looked similar, called Dragon, and pictures on the internet showed it as red with copper, gold and pink shifts. It’s not magnetic, but still looks quite pretty. I went ahead and ordered it, figuring it’s a start to my Starrily collection. Hopefully, they’ll get Rose Water back in stock.
OMG my bank account is in soooo much trouble! I love this collection. I have a hard time getting the good magnet line. I wonder if I need to warm them up so it's thinner 🤔

Apparently they sold out in under a day! But the brand said they're working on a restock now, I'd recommend signing up for the restock notification on the site!

I honestly kind of prefer the brands that release less often and take the time to perfect them. It helps my bank account and I also just feel like it really shows and they end up being some of my favorites
That makes a lot of sense! Starrily does infrequent releases for sure but you can see so much love put into each polish.
