ON THE ROAD in Balkh: Village Life

Instead of his usual mode of transportation, in a jeep, Afghan national TV host, Mujeeb Arez, visits a village in Balkh Province atop a donkey. He finds himself in a cotton field, one of the biggest crops in Balkh, talking with a local cotton farmer. The farmer explains the products that can be made from cotton and the benefits it brings to him and his family.
