- We visited the cities of Mazar-i-Sharif and Baghlan coming from Tajikistan by land. We see the blue mosque, where some believe the body of Hazrat Ali lies, and attended a traditional wedding celebration.
To get a Afghan visa in Tajikistan, ask the Consulate in Khorog, not the embassy in Dushanbe. You can contact them by phone or WhatsApp (+992 93 190 7008).
We have to say, we felt safe during the entire stay in Mazar-i-Sharif and Baghlan, and life seemed to be going as usual.

Onething is to be mention is that you need permission from taliban authority for visiting and filming any city you want to go
We didn’t experience any problems, but it is true that you should get a permit.
I really appreciate and am grateful that our security forces do this. It protects us, Afghans, our tourists and national security.

I was just in Mazar e sharif law and order in place. I went there 3 years ago and I was kidnapped by 2 panjshiris and robbed of my phone and Nike shoes.
We also felt very safe in Mazar-i-Sharif this year. It was a great experience! 😄

Actually the worst country right now is probably going to be Syria or Yemen, since the wars are basically neverending in those countries and it's unclear whether would they end clearly soon or not. Greetings from Czech Republic, Afghanistan looks much more better than I expected and it doesn't look that dangerous
