As a nearly life long resident of Loudoun County Virginia, you could not believe how fast it flipped! Wasn't that many years ago that it was a great place to raise a family and work and hopefully, retire there. Family farms that went back over 200 years! Wasn't that long ago the saying was "Don't Fairfax Loudoun "...too late now! I left over 10 years ago and I'm so glad I did but now, I worry about my new state, North Carolina...with our current governor....things have got to change! Thanks for the Tim Show, Yankee! Been thinking of the disruption of the single-income family and how much damage this has caused to children/marriages and to the generations that followed. Nothing happens by accident! Nothing!!
YES! The family breakdown is at the root of much that ails us as a nation.
I'm always curious where this thought of the disruption in the single-income family comes from. My family has been duel income for well over 4 generations. I raise my kids with both of us working, my parents did the same, my grandparents did so, and even my great-grandparents were duel income families. Kinda have to be when you own a farm or are fur trappers. While the family unit is very important, it can be single-income or duel-income. As long as there is a family unit; whatever that looks like to each individual. It takes a village; even more than just bio-parents.
@@coincadecollecting2978 obviously every relationship and family is different but take a minute and look around outside your bubble and see stress levels, divorce rates, troubled kids, family values, savings rates. It all starts with the money. When you bastardize the money the quality of everything in life deteriorates
@@HighKickExp I can see your argument that "money is the root of all evil" type saying. Money is just a tool of the person who wields it. Quality of life starts with love of one's fellow man and the choice of how you choose to perceive the world. Oh btw savings rates are actually up right now in 2021, comparatively to previous years. A lot are also paying down credit card debt in high amounts. So it's not all doom/gloom.

Not just abandoning the Comex but even the paper dollar because I have heard that they are starting to see a real shortage in coins, not the redistribution lag of last year that they called a shortage, but by the chance of people hoarding coins and then illegally melting them down since a roll of nickels has about a $3.60 melt value and a roll of 95% copper pennies having over $1.50 melt value and even the modern zinc penny is starting to become worth more than $0.01

My LCD has no shortages of 90% at all. Silver dollars do go out as quick as they come in. Dimes, quarters, and halves are no problem. and the best buy out there. He is very low in gold. Strange environment that we live in.

We are living in scary times. I am glad my kids and grandkids are adults now. My great grandkids are in parochial school. Also glad I am a stacker. I have provided my grown boys with a good stack of silver when it was cheaper. Can't wait to go to a coin show this month.

Yankee Stacking your absolutely right when you said to Tim about the tubes of quarters are more for collectors. In addition the individual quarters that aren't collectible in my opinion are common dates. Its interesting my LCS goes through the quarters that are in a zip lock bag and goes through them to take out the key dates. I should add they are called a jewelry and coin store and mostly they are jewelry store.

Been seeing the employment shortages in my area too. Can't go get a cheeseburger after work b/c there's no staff. Stores have been picked clean with bare shelves for months now, Wal Mart is a wasteland (and that's the one in the nice neighborhood, not the ghetto ones). Gas prices are getting stupid, not California bad yet but it's getting there. I'm planning on getting some more Constitutional silver very soon myself, also that new Canadian Royal mint werewolf coin, that looked so neat. Early birthday gift to myself =]

Find the support groups in your area now. Practice pre-homeschooling. It takes some planning and a LOT of dedication. It is your responsibility to train up your children. The state schools will continue to get worse.

Public schools are always in the hands of polititians. Here where I live, there is a huge endoctrination in favour of independence from Spain. Their goal is so clear that it doesn´t matter if the kids´ education is poorer, it´s just the perfect way to get new future voters to the cause. That´s why we should be brave enough to make our own decisions, instead of following the flock of sheep . The problem is that they use our taxes to put our kids against us...Your daughter made a good decision Tim!!
Found a pawn shop near me with constitutional in stock at 18 x fv. Plan on going there every week till I buy them out 😄
