It’s important to know your tires and sizes before buying new wheels and tires. It’s also important to know what you can run safely on the road, or your max size before having to re-gear. Tires are expensive, so you want to make sure you get it right the first time!

@4:31 that is a video from my channel...not were you say its from
Love your Scout. 👍
I'm still bummed about my 2015 f150, you can get a 33 on it MAX with stock lift, it's not until a 6"+ before you can get a 37 on...seems a little absurd considering all the stock jeeps running around with 35-37s
Hey I'm gettin a 235/75R15 for my 2wd dakota. It's an OEM size but I think it's for 4wd. But I'm still running them. It's also an AT tire I'm putting on.
And here's to hoping there is no issue with them. I dont go off road much apart from work so idk
Thank you , I have been doing automotive work my entire life , no I’m me has do what you have done not even the million dollar chain stores!! I’ll be I touch thank you !!!!
Big tires will also increase your stopping distance.
Yes
Can I do 235/70/15 for a stock 225/70/15 with no need to upgrade suspension or other parts without a big loss of horsepower or fuel ificiency? 2000 for ranger 2wd 2.5 liter.
These were the closest examples I could find in our gallery for the specs you requested. Looks like they will fit without the suspension upgrade, however I am not 100% sure how it would effect your fuel usage! www.customwheeloffset.com/wheel-offset-gallery?tire_height_from=225&twidth=70&sort=yno&year=2000&make=Ford&model=Ranger&drive=RWD
Hi any advice on a Range Rover sport 2012 hse - project car currently on 20” rims looking to increase tire size without decreasing rims option 1, option 2 reducing rims and increasing rubber - what would be the best option . Thanks in advance
What you say about a 6.5 and 37in on a jeep gladiator?
How dare you disrespect Whistlin’ like that
haha you're right, around here in Wisconsin, we do have large fertilizer tractors running AG tires and they run those down the roads!
What exactly is that bronze wheel at 2:10? I need that wheel.
Method 701 Bronze
Whistlin Diesel only ever runs practical builds on his trucks. I'm upset that you clearly don't recognize peak performance when you see it. Maybe one day you will understand the manufacturers are trying to keep us from these secrets because we would become too powerful. So they give you recommendations for tires that are clearly like 4 feet too short.
😂😂😂
@@TrailBuilt glad you didn't get upset by that. Clearly satire, great vid though. I'll stick with my 35's
Much easier to read than metric? 12.5 loool
What about width of the wheels? Is 20x12 too big for off-road ?
Not if you run 40s
