great vid, just used this video to fix mine, just pulled the bottom of the black plastic arm out of the white wheel then let it snap back into place, applied some grease into the grooves to stop it happening again.
thanks for video. I managed to fix my zafira. I think it could be done by taking the pannel directly under the steering wheel. but than you could use only long thick wire with hook on the end... the manufacturer should fix it for free!
Hi I ave a Vauxhall zafier 56 plate and getting now heat through the the windscreen. I've stripped all the panels off and looked at the white wheel. Can't get to the problem any one have any advice
The wheel in this video still isn't making its full journey - the black lever peg is in the wrong track, as it's jumped across - the wheel should make another half turn at least and if you listen you can hear the stepper motor straining as it can't run the full distance

If it has popped off then the chance is the off-yellow arm is catching when top center. I used nylon washer between pin and yellow arm at the top.

video was helpfull. however you took off too many panels. done it with a long screwdriver and yanked the bottom pannel off
why don't u just take the engine out too. no need to take the trim off
