Good suggestion about being in a good mood before filming! It so true! I feel like I always come across as bored in my videos so I’m definitely going to try that!!!
Use the word you Use a visually catchy image at the first scene Change angles Use TRENDY AUDIOS and put your own spin on it Post everyday Plan content ahead of time Do interactive posts Use hashtags wisely Use a catchy caption that makes user click see more, to gain audience retention
Hi! I loved the video🥰 I wanted to ask: if I post content for booktok and I want to switch from personal account to a creator one, which category should I choose?
Hmm tbh idk how much the category matters? I created my account a year ago and have no clue what I put for my category--def change to creator because you get access to features first and eventually if you hit 10K, you can be monetized
Make sure the content is good quality: have good lighting, good camera quality, etc. and create to trends/content which does well in the niche you want to create content in
Ahh that's unfortunate!! Although I do think there's a lot of people in India who like books so maybe it could work? Some of my followers on IG are from India and they seem really passionate about reading :)
I would recommend reaching out to the book content creator you want to work with and asking if they'd like to recieve a free copy in exchange for an honest review!
Thank you this is really helpful. I just recently started booktok myself so I'm trying really hard to read but Im a uni student which is making it harder haha. Followed u on tiktok

Yes! Glad it resonated with you :)
That's true about the training sequences. I'm going to make sure my protagonist gets injured now lol
Do you prefer booktok or bookstagram reels?

How do you identify sounds that are trending when you are scrolling through your FYP?
If you hear them time and time again in TONS of videos, they’re trending. Usually there’s a certain dance/movement that goes with them
How do you even get on the fyp in the first place? Cuz I legit only get views from people who follow or click on my profile.
Make sure the content is good quality: have good lighting, good camera quality, etc. and create to trends/content which does well in the niche you want to create content in
I just opened my booktok page yesterday and I don't know what to post as my first video, could you help me?
Hi! I would recommend doing a book recs video or showing off where you keep your books (like a bookshelf tour). Hope that helps!
Man, I need to get on TikTok.
It's def a fun time and very useful for book promotion/author platform building. Highly recommend :)
I live in India so reels show my reels to people who are not interested. Not people who like books 😭
Ahh that's unfortunate!! Although I do think there's a lot of people in India who like books so maybe it could work? Some of my followers on IG are from India and they seem really passionate about reading :)
So informative! Still terrifying tho 😂
How can I get a reviewer for my Fantasy book?
I would recommend reaching out to the book content creator you want to work with and asking if they'd like to recieve a free copy in exchange for an honest review!
