I’ve seen the Cars live several times, and these guys are the real deal! Such a great show! If you are a Cars fan, don’t miss seeing these guys perform.
As tribute bands go, it's going tobe hard to find a better one. CARS songs are so iconic that you find yourself getting lost in the lyrics, music and melodies. Within minutes, I was doing the same thing with this three song trilogy. Thanks for the songs. It was "just what I needed".
This passes the blind listening test - when I'm listening in the background, I can forget that it's not the Cars. Whoever did the mixing did an excellent job too.
I’d have to second this. I’ve been a severe OCD Cars fanatic since 1978,, and at WORST, I could hear these as one of their ‘demo’ versions. Very well done!
Three songs in a row on an album. I can't honestly remember any better three right now. Not played live anyways. I agree it passes the blind listening test.
Excellent musicianship... I cant imagine the real band sounding better... The Cars will always be an absolutely unique and AMAZING band, with some of the most memorable and unrivaled works that will ever exist.
Thanks for posting and great job. "All Mixed Up" is one of my all time favorite songs, always reminds me of the girl I lost my virginity to. I left it to her, and everything was alright. Lol.
With the sound, the look, and classic Cars' cryptic lyrics this takes me to an era of new wave music coming on the scene where I found my life put to music as mixed up as my ex-girlfriend now dating my best friend was, while nights were moving in stereo to the beat of mystical music telling me deep inside that it was just what I needed to be in touch with your world.
When I was 11 years old I learned to play drums to that album..... I played all of the songs on that album over and over and over again.... There's not a single nuance of note or vocal that is off at all. Every single thing that is on that album is included with this band at this date kudos to you boys you were doing it Justice......keep rocking
OK, I'm listening to this in November 2020. And I REALLY hope you're still doing this! I have been a Cars fan for decades, DECADES and I will tell you this was so great!!! Made me realize how much I miss them. You do a wonderful job on the Ben Orr songs. I'm going to check out your YT channel and see what elseyou have. Thank you for this I mean that Thank you for THIS! 💖💖💖🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗💖💖💖
My very favorite song combination from the cars... To me the first album was the Pinnacle... I was just finishing up undergrad and I couldn't quite listening to this album.... I was later in a cover band where we did these two and "You're all I've got Tonight" complete with the drum and guitar phaser....
Just found about you guys and after listening to the classic ending of one of the great debut albums of our generation, has me wanting more,BRAVO guys!❤🎸😎👍
This was awesome guys, a little harder on the drums and it’d be near perfect- moving in stereo to all mixed up is an exact replica of what a live cars show included- thank you
@brianf9615 I guess you weren't aware that the Cars themselves had a couple of wig wearing members. I'll let you guess which ones! Can you imagine a Beatles tribute WITHOUT wigs? That wouldn't be very effective would it? It's the only way to get close to experiencing an original performance.
@ Let me guess Ric wore a wig and perhaps Elliot. Also Benjamin might have worn one while he was suffering with cancer. I meant no disrespect to your band by my statement and I take it back. I’m sorry for my remark. However I do think that you guys play spot on. Keep on rocking.
Nice tribute of a great band & pair of songs. All us lefties noticed the 1 big giveaway, cuz we're a proud minority.🫠🤚 When the Cars came out & all shook up the Arena Rock Order in the late 70s, the only venues for still unknowns in Seattle were 21&over only bars because of the anti young people having fun teen dance ordinance. And they only booked cover bands. It was a musical moonscape, that had us rebelling against bars, cover bands & pricey Arena shows with new diy music & venues & fans. Fast forward & now tribute bands are everywhere, and we like it. Cuz now we're the old fartz.
@FenderBassDave It's my phone. I can't hear it well. I can't wait to get a real sound system one day soon again. Driving me nuts. Yes I researched all day yesterday after my question and learned about that amazing guitar. This is going to be my first bass and I'm very excited to learn all that I can. I'm a singer and song writer. Are you from the 1970s? I am. Do you play as well? Cheers!
@@JerryCalvert-x9u ya. I have a 200$ pair of AKG headphones on so… the bass sounds great. Yes I play bass and was born in 1966 so all the cars music was a huge part of my teen years!
I'm 53 now but back in the day the cars were my favorite we wore out the candio album long may they rock ty for sharing
took the words right of my mouth

Awesome! Thanks for the comment.
That was awesome 😎Great performance
Thank you!
Best double shot ever moving in stereo and all mixed up. Love being a 80s long hair.

THE CARS☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆YEAH☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆!!!!
Plus their wigs are better than The Cars’!
@@bertbecker7532 Pretty sure Ric and Elliot wore wigs throughout their whole adult lives including The Cars.
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! The whole band worked to make every song spot on, Thank You!!!
Very well done! They got the look down and the music was spot on. Thanks guys. R.I.P. Ben & Ric✌️❤️🎵
Thank you!
Looks like them too cool
Played the crap out of this in '79 while in 12th grade. '72 442 with Pioneer Supertuner, Clarion Amp, Jensen Triaxle speakers front and rear.
Three songs in a row on an album. I can't honestly remember any better three right now. Not played live anyways.
I agree it passes the blind listening test.
I always have to listen to these three in a row all the time.....
Very well done boys, great tribute. One of the greatest albums of all time. Love The Cars. ❤️ Thanks for sharing your performance.
Highschool days for me . Cruising main street and the Cars 1978-1980 . Great memories
Nice job!
Dead on cover of Bye Bye Love. I hope you're still together. You sound great!
Just came across this, would be a great tribute to Ric and Ben RIP.
Huge Cars Fan for 40+ years. Three (3) Great 👍 Song choices. Keyboard will get there. Thx! 👍

Yeah, same here, it was all mixed up, wish I could go back. Good woman.
Drummer has that David Robinson groove down. Y’all do a great job. Would love to hear some stuff from Candy O.
That was pretty cool, not much Cars stuff out there. Many thanks to you and the guys, you took me back to a better time and place. Loved it.
Thank you!
I enjoy just listening to the music as much as watching the performance. These guys rock! Fantastic music and recording. Love the stereo effects!
Very good cover!. God.. I really miss this music! Took it for granted.
Excellent cover, well done, thank you!
Thanks you!

Fingers crossed. Keeping the cars alive 😎

He does sound like Ore. Band great!
Very well done and much deserved respect!
Absolutely Brilliant !!! Thank you so much !
Thank you!
Nice. A couple of weeks back I was wondering why there wasn't a Cars Cover Band. Really cool. Thanks guys.
Thank you
Excellent!
I love it! All mixed up is one of my favorite songs if I had to pick one,but I like em all !
Absolutely fabulous
THESE GUY's ROCK!... They should book RENO, NV I'm good for 4 tickets.
Great stuff. Lead guitar player and lead vocals kills it
Good friends of mine have a Cars tribute called "Broken Lullaby" in Phoenix. Your bass player does a good job on the vocals.
I liked and subscribed to this. These guys are seriously tight! A LOT of work went into this effort. It had to of been a LOT.
Very impressive.
Love the use of keyboard for guitar parts!
Very cool. 🙏🇺🇸🙏
Thank you!
Outstanding
Good look. Good job!
Thanks so much!
great job guys keep it up
To name your group by my favorite Cars song, and then lead off this video with my second favorite... too cool and nice job guys!
Thank you!
Thankyou for this gem ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for watching.
This makes me happy
That’s a nice comment! Thank you.
Excellent tribute!!!
Nicely done!
Thank you!
Digital synths just don't have the fat 2 oscillator, analog sound needed for Cars music. Perhaps a sampler or an old Prophet 5? The patches need help.
Great cover 👍
Thanks
Adorei o look do Benjamin 😂. Adorei a banda 🫶🏼👏🏽🎸
Si...nada que ver con benjamin pero estuvo bien
This is really good,thank you
Thank you!
THIS is pretty awesome :)
Thank you!
Sounds great! The original album cut has a high sung vocal which you do nicely!
cool
Thank you!
Alright I hear Rick singing, but he's not. Rock with that shade of funkpunk. You guys are awesome. Miss you Rick.
Stunning. Wish you played in UK.
Thank you! Maybe we will when things open back up.
Bye bye love….Cars best jam……Always with some other guy
Great.
Good job

Great Job!

Remember buying The Cars first album...
You really sound great!
Thanks
I was such a little kid my friends sister was dating a guy who had a 69 Chevy with a 8 track of the cars that’s how long ago
good vibes
Looks Like Them😊
Wonder what Dave, Elliott and Greg would think of this?
Stepped back from the mic way too much, but that was my only complaint lol
Love it!
Thank you!
oi, the cars.
I'd check this band out if they play Lorain, Ohio or Cleveland, Ohio in the summer 2023.
What type and model of bass is that? And is he really playing it? Sometimes doesn't look like it and hard to hear it too.
It’s a Ernie Ball MusicMan Stingray. Yes he’s really playing it. And I can hear it fine.
@FenderBassDave It's my phone. I can't hear it well.
I can't wait to get a real sound system one day soon again. Driving me nuts.

Could you guys do the whole album?
Yes we have performed the whole album in order a few times.

Keyboards were....not quite there.... otherwise sounds 👍 great!!!🎉❤
Great job but, need to change the sound of the keyboard to sound a little more like the Cars.
They're definitely pros
