I fancied getting the Recoil 18", what puts me off though is the leaky hatch. Hatch dosn't seal well at all on the Recoil 18" & 26", problem is I run on 100% salt water. The other problem is it is very difficult to tape the hatch on the Recoils, due to the step up from the deck around the hatch. Plus as im sure your aware tape dosn't stick to well to the plastic on the Recoil due to the textured finnish on the plastic.
Oh yeah, tape does not stick to this hull at all! If your running in salt water, I'd pass on this one unless you get real fancy with the hatch seal.. BG4L
Big B , what a treat - 2 videos in a day 👏👏
Propping wheelies with that prop SON. Nice rip.
Great work and great run 😊👍🏻👋🏻

Great run time. What motor ?
It's the stock outrunner motor, 2835 2800kv if I'm not mistaken.
What is the 2 blade prop you were running on it ?
An old proboat 3416 detounged
Lol that's the exact prop that I smoked some motors with.
Sorry I was using an octura 435 3 blade. Got 46. And smoked motor lol
Did you use the heavy duty Velcro or the standard Velcro.
Heavy duty velcro brand velcro. (the good stuff 😆)
Yes the HD Velcro is superb, plus the glue on the back of the Velcro sticks like you know what lol.
I like the pin mod. My lids flip off as well
