Firstly, congratulations on the new baby! I was wondering when we'd get another tune and I'm happy to say it's worth the wait. It is wonderful. You were inspired!
just downloaded and installed. amazing patch. added a little Valhalla Shimmer and delay, instant blade runner. love it. feel free to share more patches my good sir, you make amazing stuff.
Absolutely incredible sounds man, love it ! This is the best I've heard a Rev 2 sound and the bass from the P12 is so nice. Still needing to add a P12 to my set up, its next on the list ! Can’t wait to hear what you do with the OB6, it’s going to be awesome.
Hey Craig!! :) Thank you so much!! Glad you like it!! :)) I'm getting the OB-6 later this year when I've saved up a bit. You'll love the P12! :) Will u get the keyboard or the desktop version? Love/T
@@tarekmansur The OB6 is a stunning synth, its a definite keeper, you will love it guaranteed ! Id go for the P12 keyboard version as fortunately space isn't an issue. It's also a beautiful looking synth !
Would you recommend the Prophet 12 or the Rev 2? I know they both have their characters, and personally I love the sequencer of the Rev 2 but I've heard good about the 12 too.
They sound totally different. I think the Prophet 12 sounds more analog and warm. You are able to use distortion, feedback and delay alot easier than with the Rev 2. The Prophet 12 is perfect fort sick sound design sounds and warm pads. The Rev 2 sounds really clean. I love the leads you can create with it! So... I really really really love booth but if I had to choose...it would be The REV2 for leads and the Prophet 12 for pads 😉❤️
About sequencing on the P12, I found this "And the P12 has a 32 step sequencer, each step with pitch and velocity that can be tweaked. It seems that not many people know about it, but you load in your notes in the ARP in assign mode (with Hold engaged). And then you lock it and can tweak it further in the sequencer page by added notes, incorprating pause steps, tweaking pitch and velocity. I like also that you can transpose the sequnce easily via keyboard or midi." (Orignially posted by Raffor on Gear Slutz, 22, Fed, 18) I'm new to synths (guitar player with Strymon Timeline, Decco and Sonic Orb Phaser - Decco is best pedal I've ever had.) Plan on getting either the P12 or the REV2 within 3 months and now I'm looking at the OB -6 which seems closer to theRev 2 (smoooooth). I know it's a big jump, but I like the challenge. So i'm continuing checking out what I can of these three while also learning how to operate them. Tips and suggestions always appreciated.
Dear Tarek, it may sound a bit morbid but I want to play this song at my funeral (I assume that that will take a long time to come) to let people hear what I so like about (electronic) ambient music. I find this so incredibly beautiful composed song, I get a lump every time in my throat when i hear this number ...
hey tarek, no words.. but what kind of effect engine did you use? eventide space? do you recommend the p13 over the rev2 for ambient? greetings from Berlin!
Hey Miłosz! I used the Strymon BigSky Reverb and Strymon Timeline Delay in this video I think. What synth is P13? Do you mean Prophet 12 or the Pro 3? I really liked my Prophet 12! And I really liked the REV2 so if you are on a budget definitely the REV2 otherwise I would go Prophet 12. It has wave tables and you can get really crazy sounds compared to the raw oscillators you have on the REV2.
@@tarekmansur yes that's what I get, the hybrids have dozens more of possibilities but they don't reach this raw analog sound. as you had (have?) both - yes I mean the p12, sorry :) - and do ambient-like music, would you recommend the rev2 for that kind of music, too? I think the effect mashines are the thing where you turn it to ambient, right? so it's p12 or rev2, BigSky or eventide. money tells. but really, since I'm a child of the 90s - all though born 81 - I miss the digital touch of this era (childhood). but I think it is achievable with the effect gear's. analog colored digitally is better i think than digital colored analog. sorry, you get me somehow.. I hope :)

Do you have a preference between Peak, Rev2 and Prophet 12? I know you have heard that question many, many, many times before but please help an undecided soul ✌️
Hey man! haha! Well.. If I could choose 1 it would be the Prophet 12, 12 voices, nice layout, amazing sound, fun to work with and you can choose to have it with a keyboard.
