Entering my 3rd week with Tinnitus, and i'm still trying to swallow that 💊 , it still feels so fresh, there are times where I get stuck on what may have caused it and, what I could have done differently. (I should let that go, it is wot it is....) I watch these videos religiously, even on repeat sometimes walks in the park or hikes. (Which might be a bad thing because I'm putting too much focus on tinnitus,) but truth be told theres never a day I don't think about it. these video give me solace and hope. You're truly a blessing and I hope you continue making videos and helping people.❤

If it's only been three weeks, it is highly likely to get better. It is really important not to focus on it though. Don't avoid it, and don't overcompensate for it either. Just let it be there and get on with your life.

Great content: When I became habituated to my raging tinnitus, many times, I was very close to that pre-tinnitus time of my life...acceptance is key. When habituated, I am able to be normal and happy again.

I should add: I am just 2 months into my worst spike ever right now and applying all I can to get to habituation again: I know I will, just still in early, aggravating stage!

I feel the same way, especially when I look at photos of me, before this tinnitus. Its been since September 2023, spikes are farther apart & I know I can survive the spikes, I do my best not to focus on the sound. The ungrounded & disconnected feeling I'm still dealing with and some days are better and some worse, I do yoga-taichi to try to stay present in my experiences day to day. And pray 🙏 very much toGod ..I know all of us that suffer will eventually get back to silence with body-based self soothing and calming down our central nervous system..absolutely it is possible. I have hearing loss also, the tinnitus is in my left ear & my right ear is 100% praise Jesus, I pray for all of us that have to live with tinnitus. Lets stay strong ❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏

Hey Alice. Thanks for the important message about moving forward with acceptance and change in the deepest way. It’s not just about the ringing, is it! But our personal identity, well being, thinking, emotions and mortality that nudges us to reevaluate and confront a sometimes scary journey. Yes, Tinnitus can invoke trauma, but I often wonder if it’s not the Tinnitus that wakes us up, another life altering even would. There is something about ‘us’ the Tinnitus brings to the surface; vulnerability, mortality and the opportunity to live life from a deeper meaning level and become a new person we didn't see coming.

Hopefully you’ll get more subscribers who will come here to get better help than on the so called support groups that half the time, offer more doom and gloom than they do support.

Possibly. I used to hear it when I wore earplugs or noise cancelling headphones to block out my mum snoring when we went on holiday or when the dog next door barker but I didn't worry about it and just listened to music instead before it came along.
