"Being real is better than lying for likes." Glad to know this is a reliable source.
You’re so right, no one really goes on holiday. My cousin said she once went to a place called “Australia” on holiday. Clearly a lie, I don’t even think that’s a real place
Mi father once took me on a Holiday to our “home country” something called “Argentina” but I know Argentina doesn’t exist, the only Latin American country is Mexico
Yeah, okay, my mom is a fortune teller who always has the same group of women over two to three times a week for hours. Does the mom just sit there and tell them things about their lives multiple times a week for hours at a time? Why would these women keep coming back?
At the end of the meeting she brain-washes them and makes them forget about everything. They think they just had tea in the lady lair and set the time for the next appointment. Easy money XD
Moral of the story: everyone’s a liar and you’re not weird for photoshopping yourself for likes but you should stop before someone you love gets injured

My brother was dating a girl who literally had no idea what either of her parents do for a living. Both her parents work, they're married and live together, but when we had her over for dinner she had no idea what either parent did.
I am laughing so hard at the setup they had for all the "Magic" stuff...like...obviously the animator had no idea what they were working with...the Magicians wand just chilling next to a literal piece of bread and a large gold star? And the "Ouija board" that was just two clean paint pallets on top of each other 🤣 and how all of it was just thrown in a heap in the middle of the room on the floor. Cards all over the place. A random diamond. A lamp. I am crying laughing.
This second story legit sounds like it was written by my super religious friend from middle school. I still remember when I got my first deck of tarot cards and showed them to her, she warned me that her youth pastor said he “knew a girl who played with tarot cards, and the next day her parents found her dead” implying that the tarot cards were somehow responsible. It was wild.
I introduced a friend to D&D in middle school. She was super into it. She told her parents. The next day, she had never even liked it and it was of the Devil.
"What do you think of this story" (the second one): It sounds like it was written by a teen who can't handle that three hours of her mom's week are not about them so they changed mom's afternoon hangout with her friends into this bizzaro story to sound justified instead of like a spoiled brat.

Kind of sends a shit message that older siblings are responsible for younger siblings even though they are not the ones who chose not to wear a rubber. Already a huge issue.
Older kids can absolutely babysit their younger siblings. They didn't decide to not wear a rubber, but they still have to live in this world now. So it's best if they learn a bit responsibility (doesn't mean they're fully responsible like the parents). Also, what self-centred narcissist would seriously have a problem with sometimes looking after the own sibling? Not constantly, of course, but sometimes.
I’m guessing the animator either wasn’t a native speaker or just straight up never seen a horror film. I'd like to point out that in the second one, the mom's secretive behavior is the main cause of her child's fear/distrust. I'm sure the mother had a reason for keeping her practice of witchcraft secret: perhaps the father or external social pressures would disapprove and she wanted to keep her children out of the matter for their own good. But inadvertently, maintaining an air of secrecy around something has the tendency to make people uncomfortable. In the imaginative minds of children especially, this can turn into fear, as we see in the story (I know it's not real, I'm just examining it). Without realizing it, the mother put a massive wedge between her and her child. If she had been open and honest about her involvement in witchcraft, I'm sure her kids would either respond with excitement or indifference. We aren't born with fear of different lifestyles and practices, they are given to us either subtly or overtly in our formative years. Hell, if my parents had raised me pagan instead of mormon, I'd have been way more interested in religious practice. Who wouldn't want to celebrate the seasons and connect with nature as a child? I'm not promoting anything, I'm just saying that the discomfort the protagonist of that story felt was a learned opinion, brought on by her mother's secretive behavior.
