    I have both and my legs feel better after running in the infinity. The softness of the invincible makes every run feel harder and I get sore joints after using.
    Just picked up another infinity 3 for £68!

      I thought I was crazy, glad I'm not the only one who felt the bounce back from the super padded heel jacked up my joints.

    As a hefty person, I thoroughly enjoy wearing the invincible for daily walks and jogging to the gym. It is a little more comfortable than other shoes. Maybe it's not stable enough, but it's no particular problem for me for the time being.

    Thanks for the review. I love my Infinity Run 2's, but now I know that for races, I could use another one. Anyhow, it's the shoe I put the miles/km on.

    I have both but for me Invincibles are the best long easy run trainers and as you said they are unique. Infinity is a pretty solid and stable shoe but not as special as Invincible.

    Infinity 3 is available for $70 USD so I had to buy them. Interested to hear reviews of the new invincible coming out in 2023

    A local shoe store nearby offers a fantastic discount. Nike Infinity Run 3 + Pegasus 39 for only $135.

    For me it's a no brainer. I can't wear the Infinity because of the high arch, it's painful to me. Same story like I can't wear the Alphafly. So it's the Invincible and Vaporfly for me. And so far I'm liking both. Some minor gripes are the Invincible is a bit wide (unlike usual snug fit Nike) and the insole is a bit too smooth resulting in my feet moving inside.

    @6:44 Take it from me you do not want to walk in the Nike Invincible run 2. This shoe only makes sense to use when actually running otherwise you'll feel unstable when just simply walking about. The Invincible run when walking in them feels as if they placed 2 ballons on the bottom of your feet and told you to start walking for the first time with those ballons on your feet going in all different directions. Try doing that for 10-15 miles as your whole walking mechanics get screwed up. And no you can't adjust them for walking. You'll regret it just like I did. It was so bad I had to buy an emergency shoe for the trip. The shoe is amazing for running, not walking.

      I was dumb enough to walk in them for hours and carry some stuff adding even more weight, and then at the end of the day wonder, why my back hurts lol
      The is almost a centimetre drop which is supposed to propel you forward, not make you constantly try to remain standing upright, which is going to happen when you're not running.

    Avoid super soft shoes if you have knee injuries instead get a firm neutral shoe

    Good comparison Run Testers! Have Invincible V1's and they're fire. Has Nike sorted the tongue ripping issue on the Infinity?

    Thanks, gents, great review, having a few issues with niggles on my 50-year-old legs and feet of late, mainly extensor tendonitis so I'm looking for comfort/cushion shoes and the invincible 2 and Asics gel nimbus 24 seem to be top of the list for comfort and stability and not have a paper-thin tongue, the invincible I've seen mention has a stretch to the lace which would also help when the foot gets hot. what, in your vast testing of shoes would you recommend?

    • @bijosn
      @bijosn ปีที่แล้ว

      Get a firm neutral shoe instead…cushioned shoes will hurt your knees and joints more especially if you have knee injuries

    Really enjoyed your take on these two options. I use both in my rotation and I agree 💯 with the thoughts shared. The Invincible is just darn fun and truly unique while the Infinity is a great stable/cush/workhorse that grows on you over time. I’d definitely take the Invincible but Infinity is a solid choice as well. 👟 👟 🔥 🔥

      React has never impressed me. It's terrible in the winter and, overall, I find it quite inferior to FF Blast, for example. I didn't like the fit of the Infinity (quickly retired them) and the Invincible is only good for about 200 miles before they are shot (at least for me as a heavier runner). They're both very flawed shoes TBH.

      @@jonsferratore2540 For me, React is a bit too firm as a recovery shoe. Also, I found the Tempo Next% a much better shoe than reviewers did. It's a fairly firm shoe that worked for me on regular training runs regardless of tempo.

    hi!! whats best for very slow tempo, like 8-9min/km? my girfriend is beginner, and she hates the pegs 38, they give her feets burn feeling. the infinity looks more joints saving, but invincible look like more overall energy saving. but like I said, her tempo is very slow. thanks

    • @TheRunTesters
      @TheRunTesters  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Both would be good options. I'd probably say Invincible for enjoyment and comfort, but the softness isn't to everyone's taste. The Infinity is a solid shoe and more stable, but not as enjoyable.

    Hey guys, for someone who runs neutral and finds the base on the 1080v12 and Ride 15 to be fine, would you say the Invincible would be too unstable or could it be workable?
