Infinity for me as Pegasus has never had enough heel support for me, I can run in them, just never loved running in them. The Infinity is super comfortable and grounded, remind me of Asics DS trainers from long ago, look forward to putting them on.
Im a medium distance daily walker, not a runner. Owned Peg 39 for 50 days and could not find a way to like it. Tried Infinity 3 yesterday and loved it immediately. Returned the Peg due to Nikes generous return policy and bought three pairs of Infinitys. I find the Infinity to be more comfortable, firmer sole and much more laterally supportive. If you are a walker, definitely give the Infinity 3 a try.
Thank you. Also a medium distance walker. Currently using vomero 16 ( on its last legs after about 1500km) but looking for a replacement. You’ve made up my mind for me. Cheers
I own Infinity run 2 and if you are a runner sure pegasus should be familiar, but the last time I own one was Peg 36, maybe this time I will try peg 39. Thanks for this comparison
@@hanabruinier8287 I've been using my old old Nike pegasus 36 as my day to day shoe. I wear them to the office, when I'm sight seeing, traveling. I'm pretty sure you can't do much wrong with a Nike Pegasus model.
I am overpronate so kinda "need" stability.. but Infinity React never work for me.. still overpronate and I could say even more pronounce.. The original Epic React is way better actually
Recently bought the peg 39 new direct from Nike on one day sale for $63. The shoes do not justify that low price in my opinion for my needs. If you are a “heavy and older” runner; i am 6ft 2 inches 200lbs and 48 yrs old; the peg will not have enough cushion for you.
Nike says pegasus are good for wide feet but as an owner of a Peg 35, it really doesnt give me lateral protecction as my feet go past the soles when planted on ground. I just bought the flyknit 3 with it's obvious spacious toe box and midsole. It may look heavy but also looks durable for endurance runs. Pretty exclted to receive them kicks and im looking forwrd to use them on a 10k
Peg 39 is the winner vs the infinity 2 and 3. I almost regret buying the infinity 3’s because the peg 39 appears to be the more versatile shoe, lighter and cheaper but oh well. Infinity 3’s are still decent and they do look nicer than the peg but performance wise, peg 39 are better for running and I’ll be buying those shoes soon 👌🏼.
Considering getting both for rotation to prepare for a marathon next year - is that a good idea or are they too similar? Also, which one to pick to run the marathon then (Not trying to race, just finish below 4hrs is my goal)?
Great review! But I'm still confused. I'm looking for a shoe for daily use. I'm not running, not training. Which one would you recommend; Infinity Run 2 vs Infinity Run 3 vs Pegasus 39? Thanks!
Infinity Run 3 if its just for daily use as it looks kinda better. PEG 39 is great for running and be just okay for a decent looking shoe for daily wear..
hey mate these 2 models are running shoes, and on top of that, they are HIGH END running shoes. meaning they are more expensive and specifically designed for running, so may not be very comfortable for long walks. However if you insist on picking one of these - definitely go for the Pegasus 39 - it is the more balanced, well-rounded shoe.
Nice review. I recently bought this shoe, and the inner sole of 1 foot is a bit loose. It comes out when I remove my show. Is it ok ?? Please someone...??

Bought Pegasus 39 just after its release..its a great daily running shoe..!No complaints..

I do alot of walking .Just ordered one for a $85. Can't wait to get it.
That's what I use them for, for walking. Really comfortable and supportive.

Waiting very impatiently on the Pegasus 39 to hit the US, delayed until late June! Great video as always!

I own both - not a runner - but like each for daily wear and rotate amongst several pairs of each - have the Infinity 3 on now
Great job as always! I would say Asics Novablast and Glideride are better options for the same proposal. Greetings from Brazil!!
This is the video I’ve been waiting for! Excellent work!
Great Review of both but looking forward to the US release of the Peg 39, I do still have the Peg 36 and looking forward to replacing it
I loved the 36! I wear it to work every day. I am still running in the Peg 37 and really need to get a new trainer. did you get the 39? happy with it?
@@dannyschleicher Not yet, but right now I have my eyes set on the Asics NB3'S, I have the NB2's and I love them thus far.

running: pegasus 39
walking: react infinity run 3
Slow runs: infinity 3

Bro, they are not about support. Check React Miler 3 or Air Zoom Stucture 24. They'll do for you
I enjoyed Infinity Run 3 for jump roping, but running felt a bit clunky, LOVE the heel cup though
The oo Run 3 is half price on Nike today, so I looked up this video to see if maybe I "needed" a new pair of running shoes.

I was actually wondering if infinity had a good toe box!
Pegasus are very narrow
@@Blingbling820all Nikes are too narrow in the toe box for me.
Smashing out the video’s 👍
Yes, the infinity 3 for me is a very comfortable shoe for walking.
I wear size 12 bought my first running shoe Pegasus 39 I love it but the more I run I get blisters infront of my toe so it might be best to size up.
As always great review
Do you know why the infinity makes my toes ache so bad for weeks? It feels like it’s rolling me onto my toes so much

I tried both... I prefer Pegasus 39.
I'm after one shoe to do my daily training with the aim of quick 5k and 10ks as the end result. Is the Pegasus that shoe or more the Endorphin speed ?
If you’re going to race in it as well I’d say the Speed, faster shoe than any of these three and a good daily trainer too
@@TheRunTesters thank you. Are they ok for the slower runs too? My only worry
I find them great for slow stuff myself, but admittedly not all runners do. Tough to make a call on that without testing them unfortunately

I am faster on the react. I over pronate. Maybe the cushions on the react helps me.
just finished watching the video and totally forgot youtube has an option for slower playback.. woulda been nice for when the guy was talking 😂
well for me it would be as simple as... Pegasus is most likely the only one offered in extra wide.
