US Marines came under attack from Somali militiamen early
Thursday (2/3) and returned fire at the Somalis' armed vehicles,
forcing them to retreat. More than 2,000 US Marines and
Italian soldiers swept ashore and secured a narrow strip of
coastline just outside Mogadishu early Tuesday (28/2), forming a
rearguard for some 2,000 withdrawing Pakistani and Bangladeshi
troops.

Don't know about US but Pakistanis followed the UN mandate, they were ordered by UN to withdraw, the militias could not do it by force

@@Omar-hn6kj idiot, in the battle of Mogadishu 160 soldiers of US went against thousands of Somalis and when hundreds of Somalis died, 19 US soldiers, one pakistani soldier and 2 Malaysian soldiers died, you're cheering over the fact that at least u managed to kill some US soldiers which were trying to help your corrupted country and save it from starvation and Aididi who were slaughtering hundreds of people, you people need to change and stop blaming US for "invading" you, go do some research dumb fuck
